台灣保險業產業趨勢與展望-改變才有新契機迎向保險新格局

摘要


世界經濟論壇 (World Economic Forum,WEF)在2015年6月發布「金融服務業的未來─破壞性創新如何重塑金融服務業結構、供應及消費」。金融科技(FinTech)的發展將對銀行、保險、證券等傳統金融業的商業模式,帶來全面性的衝擊。保險產業是與『人』高度相關的產業,無論是在新興科技導入、商業模式改革、跨業合作或商品服務創新,皆需考量人與人之間的溝通、協調等問題。本研究目的在探討台灣保險產業目前的趨勢及運用創新科技在保險產業創造新契機,迎向保險新格局,鼓勵保險業者能運用數位的轉型來改善事業體的營運效率,重新調整及對產品和服務提升品質,藉以改善客戶體驗。無論是運用雲端技術改善資料分析,或消費者自主決定保險生效時間。本研究用文獻分析法來蒐集有關保險科技(InsurTech)和人工智慧(AI)如何改變保險業的生態的資訊、調查報告、學術論文及網路資料等文獻資料,以系統、客觀的,加以研究歸納、整理分析。 由於市場環境與機會不盡相同,保險科技將會為整個產業與地區市場帶來影響,並發展出未來趨勢來因應。若要取得成功,必須具備以下三個必要條件:深耕成本效益、生產力和卓越營運文化。人工智慧及數位化分銷管道將令保單價格更易接受、更方便選購及投保。為了維持成長、提高利潤並做好準備迎接未來的破壞性創新,台灣壽險市場發展不宜看淡各種保障型如:高齡長壽與健康風險,這類的商機仍具有潛力。保險是透過人和人之間溝通,就年齢層來說,人工智慧(AI)並不能完全代替保險業務員的真人服務,以其作為輔助功能較符合人性。保險業在未來十年需面臨的是「融合」:如何將舊有系統與新型工具或科技進行整合,或是如何兼顧傳統保險業的現行體制與跨產業合作及新進員工的新穎思維等。

In June ,2015, the World Economic Forum (WEF) released "The Future of Financial Services. How destructive Innovations reshape the structure, supply, and consumption of Financial Services? ". The development of (FinTech) would have a comprehensive impact on the business models of traditional financial industries as banks, insurance, and securities. The insurance industry is still highly related to "people". Whether it is the introduction of emerging technologies, business model reform, cross-industry cooperation, or product and service innovation, it is necessary to consider the problems of communication and coordination between people. The purpose of this study is to explore the current trends of the Taiwan insurance industry and use innovative technologies to create new opportunities in the insurance industry, and to encourage insurance companies to use digital transformation to improve the operating efficiency of the business, readjust and rise the quality of products and service in order to improve the customers’ experience. This study used literature analysis to collect information, as information, survey reports, academic papers, and network information of how insurance technology ((InsurTech))and artificial intelligence (AI) changed the ecology of the insurance industry. The analysis was systematically and objectively analyzed. Due to the different market environment and opportunities, insurance technology would have an impact on the entire industry and regional markets, and develop future trends to respond. To be successful, three necessary conditions must be possessed: cost-effectiveness, productivity, and operational culture. Artificial intelligence and digital distribution channels would make policy prices e more acceptable, more convenient. In order to maintain growth, increase profits and prepare for disruptive innovations in the future, it is necessary for the insurance industries to pay much attention on various types of protection as longevity and health risks. This kind of business opportunities still have potential. Insurance is the communication between people. As far as the young people are concerned, artificial intelligence (AI) cannot completely replace the real-life services of insurance salesmen, and regarding its use to be an auxiliary function is more human-based. "Convergence" is the insurance industry needs to face in the next decade: how to integrate old systems with new tools or technologies, or how to take into account the existing system of the traditional insurance industry and cross-industry cooperation, and the innovative thinking of new employees.
