台灣目前面臨老化、少子化的人口結構改變,政策變革快速,年輕化退休公教人員比例增加,退休後面臨的身心靈的問題日漸受到重視、政府應多鼓勵退休人員積極社會參與,追求晚年幸福的人生。本研究旨在探討退休公教人員社會參與和幸福感之關係。本研究進行抽樣調查,以南投縣退休公教人員為研究的目標母群體,採問卷調查法,共回收423份有效問卷,並以描述性統計、變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關分析及迴歸分析等方法進行分析研究,輔以國內外相關文獻資料的蒐集,予以進行歸納、探討與分析。 根據研究發現,本研究獲致的結論如下: 一、南投縣退休公教人員社會參與良好,其中以「休閒活動」參與最多。 二、南投縣退休公教人員幸福感良好,尤其在「人際關係與自我肯定」感覺最好。 三、退休公教人員之社會參與因個人背景變項不同而有差異。 四、退休公教人員之幸福感因個人背景變項不同而有差異。 五、退休公教人員社會參與和幸福感呈現顯著的正相關。 六、南投縣退休公教人員社會參與對幸福感具有預測力。
Because of demographic changes due to longer life-spans and lower birth rates, and also because of rapid policy change in Taiwan, the number of retired government employees and teachers (RGET) in younger age brackets has increased. Problems encountered by the growing RGET population have therefore drawn growing attention. One suggestion to meet this challenge is that the government should encourage the RGET population to become involved in social activities to increase their sense of well-being during their retirement years. This implies that a relationship between social engagement and sense of well-being need a further investigation. This study therefore focuses on the relationship between social engagement and sense of happiness in the RGET population. A survey was conducted in which the RGET of Nantou County served as the research sample, with a total of 423 valid responses received. Using descriptive analysis, ANOVA analysis, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, and regression analysis 1. The study shows good social engagement of the subjects, mostly in the form of leisure activities. 2. Sense of happiness among the RGET population of Nantou County was also strong, especially in evaluations of interpersonal relationships and self-affirmation. 3. There were significant differences in RGET’s background variables in the dimension of social participation. 4. There were significant differences in RGET’s background variables in the dimension of sense of happiness. 5. The study found a significant positive correlation between social engagement and sense of happiness for the sample population. 6. It is therefore suggested that this study can be used as a reference for the government organizations and education institutions in working out retirement plans for the RGET population, and promote high social engagement sense of happiness of the RGET.
