In tourism, most of the existing studies lack a method to analyze qualitative nature of the data. Although traditional rough set approach is an excellent classification method in qualitative modeling, but the approach has no considering multiple outcomes situation. It’s hard to analyze if tourist's experience can not only impact of single decision-making outcome. Therefore, this study proposes a novel algorithm that applies the rough sets theory for solving multiple outcomes situation. Moreover, the direct use of the result provided by reduct generation procedure may lead to many reducts that contain features that are not meaningful. In order to identify meaningful reducts and ensure the strength and stability of rules, this study proposes a ranking based algorithm to induct and applied each reduct to the test data set corresponding to that of the training set. And collect information regarding the support and accuracy of that reduct in the new data for extracting rule. As an additional contribution, this study applies the solution approach in tourism. The aim is to understand relationship between characteristic of customer and tourist decision-making tasks to keep business competitive.
