真耶穌教會馬來西亞總會宗教教育之發展(1976-2017)

摘要


真耶穌教會為一基督教派,1917年成立於中國大陸,1926年傳入今馬來西亞境內。時局之因,直至1976年「真耶穌教會西馬及新加坡總會」才成立。新加坡雖早已於1965年獨立,兩地當時仍歸同一總會管理。2000年,因兩國政經、文教發展顯著不同,國勢差異漸增,「真耶穌教會新加坡聯絡處」成立。原「真耶穌教會西馬及新加坡總會」則成為「真耶穌教會馬來西亞總會」(不含東馬沙巴、砂勞越、納閩直轄區)。 真耶穌教會宗教教育係指引導人歸向真神,教導、培育信徒,使其與真神連結。在信仰上,保有正確觀念;在生活上,敬虔、依真理處事過日。真耶穌教會有獨立的宗教教育系統及教材,宗教教育課程於各地方教會各自實行。 教會深信,信仰的紮根,由宗教教育做起。馬來西亞總會,代表馬來西亞每一間真耶穌教會對待信仰的態度。本文探討1976年至今,馬來西亞社會在不長不短幾十年的歷史更迭中,帶給馬來西亞總會在宗教教育推行上遇到何種問題?並且,總會如何面對並協調、解決?

True Jesus Church is a Christian sect, founded in 1917 in Mainland China. In 1926, True Jesus Church was preached into the present territory of Malaysia. Not till 1976 True Jesus Church General Assembly of West Malaysia and Singapore was established. Albeit Singapore declared its independence in 1965, churches within West Malaysia and Singapore were managed by one General Assembly. With increasing differences between two countries, in 2000 the General Assembly separated into “True Jesus Church Co-ordination Board (Singapore)” and “True Jesus Church General Assembly in Malaysia” (not including churches in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan). True Jesus Church has an independent system and own teaching materials of religious education. The purposes of True Jesus Church religious education are meant to fasten beliefs of church members. With a strong faith in Jesus, church members could devoutly confront everything in lifetime, and also know how to stay close with Jesus. Religious courses are given to church members by each local church. General Assembly in Malaysia represents the attitude of every church in West Malaysia toward this religion. This thesis discusses the religious education development of General Assembly in Malaysia from 1976 to 2017. During these years, what problems and difficulties have been confronted by the department of Religious Education in General Assembly? And in what way the Religious Education department acts to solve, or coordinate with these difficulties?
