In the past, few lessons were taught in universities of Taiwan on how to take action in the process of establishing intimate relationships. Some students lacked interpersonal abilities and self-confidence in the pursuit of love but had no learning channels. Accordingly, the research was designed to explore whether the intimacy competence and self-efficacy in romantic relationship can be improved by the self-designed lesson.Quasi-experimental research methods are used, and the college students are divided into experimental and control group.Forty students are divided into each group, and the teaching program is implemented once a week for 3 hours ,totally 4 weeks (12 hours), as no intervention is implemented to the control group. The measurements, "Intimacy Competence Scale" and "Self-efficacy in Romantic Relationship Scale", were implemented before and after the group lessons. The obtained data was statistically analyzed by 2 factor variation analysis to evaluate the effect of experimental processing. The findings of this study were as follows: 1.The group lesson provided no significant effect on the " Intimacy Competence Scale ".Only the scores of the "Initiate /Disclosure Subscale" were significantly different. 2.The group lesson provided no significant effect on the " Self-efficacy in Romantic Relationship Scale ".Only the scores of the "Positve Attitute Subscale" were significantly different. At last, according to the research result, the suggestions are offered to educators and researchers.
