世代影響與品牌使用關係之研究

摘要


母女影響是消費者社會化研究中新興的重要議題,在過去的消費者社會化研究中就一直很重視母女影響的議題。Moore et al. (2002)、Cotte & Wood (2004)及Mandrik (2005)的研究發現在某些因素上母女影響特別明顯,女兒的品牌偏好會受到母親品牌偏好的影響,母女影響這塊研究領域再度獲得重視。本研究延續Moore et al. (2002)的實證研究,探討母女感官習慣、母女專業知識與母女品牌使用、品牌使用組合之關係。因過去研究對母女感官習慣並無發展相關量表,因此本研究參考柯永河教授對習慣的定義,自行發展設計感官習慣量表。 本研究以中部地區大專院校之外宿女學生為研究對象,探索外宿女兒與母親品牌使用的關係。以敘述性統計分析、信效度分析、相關分析、二元羅吉斯迴歸分析等研究方法做實證研究分析。 研究結果發現母女感官習慣的關係並不顯著,且女兒之感官習慣對母女品牌使用關係也不顯著,推測造成此結果的可能原因為問卷設計仍有部份需要改進,期望後進研究者能繼續針對這個部份進行相關研究。另外,從母女專業知識部份來看,母親和女兒的專業知識有獲得部分支持,以及女兒之專業知識對母女品牌使用關係也獲得部分支持。

The Intergenerational (IG) Influences has become the newly important issue of consumers’ socialization in recent years. Researchers have already kept eyes on the issue of IGI for the past years. Moore et al. (2002)、Cotte & Wood (2004)and Mandrik (2005) found that IGI existed between mothers and daughters is more obvious in some factors. For example, daughter’s brand preference will be influenced by mother’s brand preference. Because of it, researchers pay attention on IGI again. This research is aimed to extend the IGI research of Moore et al. (2002) to testify mothers’ and daughters’ sensory habits, mothers’ and daughters’ expertises and the relationships between mothers’ and daughters’ brand usage. Because there is no related inventory of sensory habit, I consulted the definition of habit announced by Yong-He Ke and developed sensory inventory by myself. The objects of this research are the out-of-campus female students of universities located in the central Taiwan. I utilized Descriptive Statistics, Correlation Statistics, and Binary Logistic Regression to do some analysis. Results indicated that the relationship between mothers’ and daughters’ sensory habit is not significant, and the relationship between mothers’ and daughters’ brand usage is not significant, too. The reason why this result has is the design of questionnaire needing to be corrected. Besides, just some parts of mothers’ and daughters’ expertises have positive impact. The implications of these findings are discussed.
