社區諮商師工作挑戰與因應策略之研究

摘要


本研究欲探討社區諮商師的工作挑戰與因應策略,主要的研究問題為:1.社區諮商師面臨哪些工作挑戰?2.社區諮商師突破挑戰之策略為何?本研究以具有諮商心理師執照且在社區諮商機構從事專任工作達一年以上者為研究參與者,主要以Patton(1990)所提出的質性研究策略進行本研究,透過深度訪談法蒐集資料,從2009年8月至2010年6月共訪談6位研究參與者,其年齡介於28歲到45歲之間之社區諮商師。所有訪談錄音皆轉謄為逐字稿,由研究者和協同編碼者共同針對逐字稿進行開放性編碼形成意義單元,再進一步將相似的意義單元形成類別單元,最後將類別單元彙整為主題,並分別撰寫六位研究參與者的個別初步結果與統整結果。 本研究結果顯示,社區諮商師的工作挑戰共可分為五大向度,分別為一、機構運作適應上的挑戰;二、專業角色的挑戰;三、個案工作上的挑戰;四、業務推廣與業績的挑戰;五、合作的挑戰。 社區諮商師面對工作挑戰的因應策略共可分為九大向度,分別為一、接受現實的限制,配合機構業務上的要求;二、調整專業認同的範疇;三、發展工作業務與專業角色的平衡模式;四、發展多元的合作策略;五、重新詮釋挑戰與壓力的意義;六、藉由個案的鼓勵與回饋得到滋養;七、學習的因應策略;八、支持系統;九、自我照顧的策略。 最後,本研究針對研究結果進行討論並提出建議,以提供社區諮商師、社區諮商機構以及未來研究之參考

This research aimed to explore the challenges and coping strategies of community counselor. The main research questions are: 1.What kind of challenges will be faced in community counselor’s work? 2. What strategies do community counselors apply to deal with the challenges? Five females and one male licensed community counselors who had more than one year full-time working experience purposely sampling from community settings as the participants. Their ages are between 28-45 years old and working length average 4.1 years. The study adopted qualitative method, which mainly proposed by Patton in 1990. The data were collected by audio-taped interviewed with participants conducting in-depth interview method from August 2009 to June 2010. Verbatim transcription of interview data were analyzed by open-coding, made the similar meaning units to classified units. Finally, the themes were emerged from the linking of the classified units. The results shows the community counselor's challenges which can be divided into five parts: 1.The adaptation of the institutional operation challenge; 2. The challenges of professional role, 3.The challenges of work, 4.The challenges of business promotion and performance, 5.The challenges of cooperation . On the other hand, the challenges of coping strategies for the community counselors can be divided into nine parts: 1. To accept various limitation in practice and to abide by the requirements of organizations; 2.To adjust the scope of professional identity, 3.To develop a balance models of administrative works and professional roles, 4.To develop diverse cooperative strategies, 5.To re-interpretation the meaning of challenges and pressures, 6.To get the nourish through the encouragement and feedback from clients, 7.To learn the coping strategies, 8.Buliding up the support systems, 9.To apply self-care strategies. Finally, the discussion of the findings and recommendations are also provided by researcher.
