摘要

本研究採用質性研究方法，針對研究者在新竹市智障福利協進會，從創會以來與身心障礙者家長們，為著孩子的一生所參與和推動家長團體成長經驗初探，從動機、經驗、反思及未來挑戰裏取得再出發方向。因在身心障礙孩子在不同年歲及社會時代轉變的歷程是不一樣，身心障礙者家長們能適時主動提出需求，以及對社會大眾認知反應，是成為可貴經驗所在。故研究者透過參與協會的家長們深度訪談和相關文件資料蒐集探究，成為研究主題銓釋。
本研究經分析與檢討，藉地方家長團體成長參與經驗，瞭解現有全國身心障礙家長團體普遍性核心議題，將發現：
一、瞭解身心障礙者家庭需求與參與家長團體的動機
二、瞭解身心障礙者家長團體的歷程與挑戰
三、瞭解身心障礙者家庭參與團體後經驗與反思
四、對身心障礙者家庭和身心障礙者家長團體提出未來政策與實務的參考
本研究盼從身心障礙者家庭角度探討，再參與家長團體組織在社會的重要性，從永不放棄愛為出發，用勇氣面對生命，找出優勢克服生存的困境與對未來的挑戰。

This study adopts qualitative research method, aiming at the researcher in Hsinchu City Intellectual Disability Welfare Association, from the founding of the association, A preliminary study on the process of investing in and promoting the growth of parent groups for children's life, from the motivation, experience , reflection and future challenges to achieve a new direction. Because the transition process of children with disabilities at different ages and social times is different, the parents of the disabled can take the initiative to put forward their needs in a timely manner and respond to the public's cognitive response, which is a valuable experience. Therefore, the researchers conducted in-depth interviews with parents who participated in the association and collected and explored relevant documents and materials, which became the subject of the research.
After analysis and review, this study uses the growth and promotion process of local parent groups to understand the common core issues of existing national disability parent groups. It will find:
1.Understand the family needs of persons with disabilities and the motivation to participate in parent groups.
2.Learn about the journey and challenges of parent groups for people with disabilities.
3.Understand the experiences and reflections of the families with disabilities after participating in groups.
4.Propose future policy and practice references for the families of persons with disabilities and parent groups of persons with disabilities.
This research hopes to explore from the perspective of the families with disabilities, and then invest in the importance of parent groups in society, starting from never giving up love, facing life with courage, and finding advantages to overcome the predicament of survival and challenges to the future.
