多符元通道估測法應用於LTE-A下行多播通道之研究

摘要


多符元通道估測(Multi-symbol channel estimation)方法可以適用於正交分頻多工(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM)通訊系統及多載波調變(Multi-carrier Modulation, MCM)系統。多符元通道估測法利用在傳送端多重符元部分位置插入導引信號(Pilots),並於接收端的多重符元中比對傳送端與接收端的導引信號,利用矩陣運算,可以求出一個多項式函數以逼近通道在此多重符元傳送時期之時變情形,透過此多項式函數可以很容易得到通道響應的時域與頻域矩陣。已證實多符元時變通道曲線估測法即使使用少量的引導信號情況下,仍可在慢速衰減通道與高速衰減通道的環境中獲得非常良好的通道估測效能;為此,我們研究將多符元時變通道曲線估測法應用於長期演進技術-進階(LTE-A)下行多播通道(Physical multicast channel, PMCH)系統,並分析其效能。

We apply Multi-symbol channel estimation to Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, (OFDM) communication system, and Multi-carrier Modulation (MCM) system. Multi-symbol channel estimation inserts pilots in multi-symbol transmitter, and then compares multi-symbol transmitter's pilots to receiver's data. Matrix operation can get polynomial function which approximates the time-varying channel. Using polynomial function can get time-domain and frequency-domain channel response matrix easily. Multi-symbol channel estimation is that each symbol is allocated sparse pilots. Therefor, the channel estimation performances still remain well no matter in slow fading channel or fast fading channel. Therefore, we apply multi-symbol time-varying channel curve estimation method to LTE-A downlink multicast channel system and analyze its performance.
