詩歌、智慧與通姦 : 聖經箴言5-7章之研究

本論文是探討箴言中第五至七章關於姦淫的議題。在聖經舊約中,一直告誡人們要遠離姦淫。加上,聖經的經文和聖經中人物故事對於姦淫的描述。可見,姦淫問題在舊約社會一直都有存在。然而,直到現今社會,姦淫的問題也十分嚴重。另一方面,箴言是智慧書,是使人獲得智慧的書籍。箴言的作者所羅門為何會把姦淫的議題,放在智慧書中呢? 此外,箴言是用詩歌形式寫的。詩歌的寫作特色,例如意象、比喻和平行等等。它們的功能,又如何加深讀者對經文的理解呢? 因此,本論文還會探索與姦淫相關的問題。例如,舊約中姦淫的定義、姦淫與通奸的差別、姦淫是內在還是外在的行為、箴言的主要讀者是向男性說教還是女性、犯姦淫為何會造成社會問題,以及姦淫的後果等等。最後,透過對經文的分析和聖經人物的教訓,讓我們重新認識姦淫和瞭解到它的嚴重性。以及,如何利用箴言中的智慧,讓我們學會遠離姦淫,從而使我們的生活走向健康與正確的道路上。

This thesis explores the poetic rhetoric of adultery in Proverbs 5-7. In the Bible and the Old Testament, people are warned to stay away from adultery. Additionally, in the biblical texts and stories of biblical characters describing adultery, it is clear that adultery has always been a problem in Old Testament society. However, the problem of adultery is still very serious in our society today. On the other hand, Proverbs is a Book of Wisdom, a book for people to gain wisdom. Yet, why would Solomon, the author of Proverbs, put the topic of adultery in a Book of Wisdom? Moreover, Proverbs is written in the form of poetry, and its writing characteristics such as imagery, metaphor, parallelism, etc. How does the function deepen the reader's understanding of the scriptures regarding the problem of adultery? Therefore, this paper will also explore and discuss themes related to adultery. For instance, the definition of adultery in the Old Testament, the difference between adultery and fornication, whether adultery is an internal or external act, the targeted audience of Proverbs is men or women, why committing adultery causes social problems, and the consequences of committing adultery. Finally, through the analysis of the scriptures and the teachings of the biblical characters, we are given a new concept and the re-understanding of the seriousness of adultery. Furthermore, we, how to use the wisdom of Proverbs to learn to turn away from adultery so that we can live our lives on a healthy and right path.
