基於HTML5技術之多螢幕控制系統

摘要


隨著越來越多的行動設備普及,我們正進入一個多設備的數位世界裡,而使用者通常擁有並同時使用這些設備,例如在看電視時也同時在使用智慧型手機上網通訊,這些設備讓我們越來越期望能得到更豐富的跨設備多螢幕體驗。將智慧型手持設備的螢幕鏡射至電視上顯示、或把手持設備做為遠端控制器控制電視畫面,為目前兩個典型的多螢幕應用,然而這些都需經鏡射技術或購買硬體支援達成。本研究提出了一個基於HTML5技術採行Web系統架構的多螢幕控制系統,此系統無須額外硬體需求,僅須透過一般的PC與行動裝置之應用程式軟體,即可控制與顯示多螢幕功能。

Along with the popularity of mobile devices, we are living in a digital world surrounded with multiple ICT devices. It becomes common that a user enjoys the use of more than one device at the same time, for example, using smart phones while watching television. That brings a new demand for applications across multiple devices and screens. A typical example is screen mirroring between smart phones and TVs. Another one is the use of a smart phone as a TV remote controller. However, current solutions across multiple devices are only available in devices with particular hardware support. In this thesis, we propose an HTML5-based multi-screen control framework. This framework can be realized in a conventional web environment, without the need of additional hardware. Only a PC and a mobile phone with our App are required for the control of a remote display.
