「萌生」-林清福陶藝創作論述

摘要


本研究以「萌生」為創作主題。一意指土地滋養大地萬物生長,孕育植物界生命的開始,如草木初生之芽;另外對筆者而言,是意念的產生、創作的靈光乍現,所醞釀出當下的感覺與持續成長的力量。 春天百花開,秋天黃葉落,寒暑遷流,四季交替,是物的生命運行;生老病死,輪迴不息,是眾生生命的運行。世間萬物看似分別獨立的個體,在時間與空間運行中,總離不開因緣聚散離合,大地涵養一切的起落,生生滅滅。本研究的創作動機源自於土地的滋養與孕育,以循環、繁衍、生生不息詮釋出植物生命歷程的轉變與因果關係。依植物的根、莖、葉、花、果實、種子之生長狀態,汲取外在性質和內在的生命意象,將複雜的造形簡化為單純的形式,表現物體潛在所蘊藏的力量。 本研究以發展自然界造形中的植物形態為研究目標,進行陶藝的開發與創作表現,以文獻探討法、實驗法、田野調查法,為此次創作研究進行的方法。從宇宙天體運行的角度論自然對生命的啟示,從種子孕育生命的意涵中引伸出造形的意義,運用變形、轉化、重複與衍生的表現手法,演繹出物體型態與展示空間架構,將物形概念的體驗與感知,轉化成造形符號與視覺語彙。陶藝必須要「以泥土為媒材,從造型開始、最後以火來結束」,運用黏土的柔軟度、可塑性、耐火性,詮釋造形與材料在不同的物理狀態與燒成溫度下,所產生的質變。 本創作研究論述的主要架構包括:「第一章 緒論」,闡述本研究動機與目的、方法與步驟。「第二章 創作理論與基礎」,在陶藝方面:從台灣現代陶藝的演變與發展脈絡,強調陶藝的藝術性、講求全然自由、個人化風格,了解現代陶藝當下的思唯與時代精神;在植物方面:從巨觀與微觀看自然世界中的凝聚與開發,探究植物的根、莖、葉、花、果實、種子、樹皮的形態面向。「第三章 創作形式與技法」,對造形構成、美感形式、內外空間、質感肌理、媒材技法之探討。「第四章 創作作品說明」,闡述「萌生」創作理念與實踐,作品呈現與說明。「第五章 結論」,針對本論文研究,提出綜合性結論,及對未來之展望。

The main topic of thesis is germinated as artistic creation. It means all things on earth nourish and gestat the life of vegetation field as the buds of plants by this land. The other meaning for writer is the idea to produced, to inspire It’s power of grownth continuously at that moment. All kinds of flowers bloom in spring. Yellow leaves fall off the trees in autumn. Four seasons changl into spring, summer, fall and winter. That’s life to be in revolution. Birth, age, illness and death mean a transmigration of the soul without ending. That’s the going of all lives. Everything in the world seems to be an separating individual. It can’t be without causes of meeting and separation yet. The land conserves everything fall and down forevermore. The original motive is from nourishment and gestation by land that interpret the plant’s life track and causal relationship by way of circulation, propagation, life and growth change of nature. According to the growing state of roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruit and seeds, to draw character outside and life image inside. It simplifies a complicated modeling and a simple to simple style that in order to perform the power of inherent reserves. The purpose of this study is to develop plant shapes of natural modeling which are to proceed with creation of ceramics artistry. The construction of this study include: Literature review, Field study, Experimental method. Discussing the natures inspiration to the livest from giant to micro view. Ceramics can be started from media with soil and end with fire that applied feature of clay as soft, flexible and refractory and to explicate the shape and material between the different physics state and metamorphosis under burning in high temperature. The study include: Chapter 1 Introduction, to expand on study motivations, purposes, methods and steps. Chapter 2 Paper study in Ceramics . explain Taiwan modern ceramic thoughts and spirits. Chapter 3 To be explored on modeling composition, aesthetic style, out and in space, qualities and textures, materials and techniques. Chapter 4 The illustration and performance of concept and practice of the germinated. Chapter 5 Conclusion: make the comprehensive conclusion and look into the future aimed at the study in ceramics.
