清代蒙書《弟子規》之析論及對E 世代大學生人格建構的七項修練

摘要


本研究主要是讓吾等對《弟子規》有進一步深層的理解與運用,作為學習《弟子規》的助力,進而對中國傳統文化的價值與精神有更深層的體悟。故全書擬分成七章,其簡述的內容摘要如后。 第一章 導論 本章主要探討本研究的動機與目的,研究的範圍、方法與限制,並 釐清相關概念,進而分析其資料來源。 第二章 《弟子規》作者與文本校異 主要對《弟子規》的作者、年代與背景有基本的了解與確立,並對 《弟子規》的版本,給予明確的定位,利於文本內容的探討與分析。 第三章 《弟子規》與儒家關係之分析 本章重點,主要是透過闡述「儒家精神」的基本概念,以強化《弟 子規》的核心價值及與儒家精神的連結性。其步驟:首先,先對 《弟子規》的承傳與淵源有一個清楚的理解,並探討其與儒家之關 係,歸結其承傳的「根本」、「禮本」與「學本」間的內涵;第 二,再從《弟子規》的核心精神看儒家精神間的聯結關係,並探討 其與《論語》的關係。本章所欲解決的問題主要有三:一是要了解 《弟子規》是否與儒家有關係?二是《弟子規》是不是與儒家精神有 重要的關聯性?《弟子規》是否為儒家待人處事的根本? 第四章 《弟子規》的內容、思想與運用 本章主要闡述《弟子規》的內容,將原典與譯文並陳,讓讀者對 《弟子規》的內容有一個基本的了解。之後,再推導出《弟子規》的 思想體系,並闡述《弟子規》的「成人之道」與儒家是一致的。進 而探討《弟子規》與「現代教養」的關係是否一致,以收集現代教 養的核心價值,進行比較對照。最後,提出《弟子規》的實踐的運 用與分析,探討五倫的實踐場域,並透過案例的分析,及運用《弟 子規》準則,以利《弟子規》的實踐。 第五章 《弟子規》與蒙書教材的概述 本章主要探討《弟子規》與蒙書教材間的關係。其步驟:首先,先 介紹歷代蒙書的發展源流,並進行說明。之後,再介紹蒙書之分 法、類型與目的。最後,進行《弟子規》與其他蒙書間的比較分 析,確立《弟子規》在清代蒙書中的定位與價值。 第六章 開啟 E 世代大學生人格建構的七項修練 本章主要探討相關論文的研究,以了解E 世代環境下,大學生所面 臨的衝擊與課題,並透過相關問題,嘗試提出《弟子規》的七項修 練課程。其間融入Peter Senge 的五項修練的概念進行思辨,並與 西方哲學進行對話,並提出大學生人格建構的方向,也提出「學習 型人格取向」的概念,以加強《弟子規》對大學生人格修練的實用 性、生活性、靈活性及思維性。 第七章 結論 本章主要是針對文獻進行回顧、彰顯啟示與心態並對未來研究的方 向,進行省思與探討。

This paper focuses on the principle of the Disciple’s Rule. We first acquaint the reader with the system of moral values underlying the rule. This allows the reader the opportunity to know and experience these spiritual and cultural Chinese traditional values. This paper is divided into seven parts, and its contents are as follows: Chap. One:Theory This chapter explores the motivation and purpose of this study. It outlines its scope, methods, and limitations. It further clarifies other relative ideas and concepts, and examines its sources. Chap. Two:Author of the “Disciple’s rule” and the Paper This chapter focuses on the authorship of the Disciple’s Rule. We also look at the period in which it was written. We also examine its background and basic foundation of its knowledge, as we endeavor to give this version of the Disciple’s Rule in its proper context, in order to make it suitable for this paper’s discussion and analysis. Chap. Three:Analyzing the Relationship between the Disciple’s Rule and Confucianism This chapter emphasizes how the basic theory and concepts of Confucianism enhance the core value of the Disciple’s Rule, in order to better illustrate the connection between the two. First, it serves to clarify the point that the Disciple’s Rule emanates from the principles of Confucianism. Secondly, it examines the relationship between the rule and the Analects. We focus and explore three interrelated topics:(1)Is there any relationship between the Disciple’s Rule and Confucianism;(2)If so, what is the nature of this relationship or connection;and(3)Is the Disciple’s Rule merely a manifestation of a core fundamental principle of Confucianism? Chap. Four:Content, Theory and Process of the Disciple’s Rule This chapter focuses on the content, theory and process of the Disciple’s Rule. Both the original sources and its translations are provided to assist the reader in better acquainting themselves with the Disciple’s Rule. This paper argues that the whole theory and content of the Disciple’s Rule are indistinguishable from the tenets of Confucianism. Furthermore, it allows us to study, compare and discuss the differences between modern education and the education one would have received back then during that time. Chap. Five:View of the Disciple’s Rule and other Ethical Books In this chapter, we examine the relationship between the Disciple’s Rule and other important books of ethics. We first introduce some landmark works of ethical books and discuss their original source, style, theory and development. We then compare and analyze some differences and similarities, and confirm the place and value of the Disciple’s Rule. Chap. Six:Seven Disciplines to Cultivate the Personality of the E-Generation Undergraduate This chapter explores some related dissertations in an attempt to better understand the students of the E-Generation, and the challenges they face as they adjust their behavior to fit their circumstances. We try to adapt the Disciple’s Rule for students as they learn to cope in today’s society. We also adapt some western theory from Peter Senge, who is the author of The Fifth Discipline. His theory on organization development and learning organizations provide a good fit into our theory. So we believe that by applying the principles of the Disciple’s Rule, we can build a positive enhanced personality, through which we can distribute through an organization or country, in order to attain world peace. Chapter Seven:Conclusion The final chapter provides a review and conclusion of this paper’s research, as well as a considered message of hope.
