日本現代藝術家奈良美智插畫風格之探索與應用

摘要

人類溝通思想圖畫是沒有時間、空間限制的。插畫的構圖、色彩、角色造形等，帶給人們的心靈啟發是不容忽視的。近年廣受矚目的日本當代藝術家奈良美智在繪畫中混合了幻想和現實，廣受大眾喜愛。本研究旨在探討奈良美智插畫表現方式的研究與應用。
本研究共分五部分，.第一章說明本研究的動機與目的，並依研究方法及研究範圍限制，擬定研究流程與架構。第二章就「圖像」語言藝術、插畫的藝術定位與發展、日本當代藝術及藝術家性格與藝術本質來探討之。第三章就奈良美智創作背景與風格來分析共分四節，分別是奈良美智的生平，奈良美智創作內容與題材，奈良美智創作風格與表現方式，及影響奈良美智創作的藝術風格。第四章統整二、三章的文獻探討及案例作為創作參考，且應用於忘憂草憂鬱防治協會之周邊商品，而在本章中共分為四節分別為創作緣由、創作過程，創作角色及創作說明。第五章主要歸納奈良美智的作品在現代藝術中，引起的風潮及原因。以及奈良美智以小女孩外表天真可愛，眼神卻洩漏內心複雜的心緒的作品，總結其作品題材、風格。而藉由奈良美智作品的插畫風格，創作適用於心靈發展中憂鬱防治領域之作品。

Abstract

Among the ways people communicate thoughts, pictures are least restricted to time and space. The enlightenment that illustrations bring to people’s minds with their composition, coloration and characters can not be ignored. In recent years, a Japanese contemporary artist, Yoshitomo Nara, has become noteworthy and well-beloved by combining fantasy and reality in his painting. This study aimed at exploring the expression and application of Yoshimoto Nara’s illustrations.
The study was divided into five parts. Chapter one dealt with the motivation and purpose of the study. The researcher drafted the study procedures and framework based on the study method and scope. Chapter two explored the “imagery” language, the orientation and development of illustrations, Japanese contemporary art and the temperament and artistic nature of artists. Chapter three was divided into four parts in terms of the background and style of Yoshimoto Nara’s creations—the life of Yoshimoto Nara, the content and theme of Yoshimoto Nara’s creations, the style and expression of Yoshimoto Nara’s creations, and the artistic styles that influenced Yoshimoto Nara’s creations, respectively. Integrating the literature review and cases provided in chapter two and three, chapter four offered a reference for creations which have been applied to affiliated products of Daylily Depression Prevention Association. This chapter was divided into four parts, tackling the cause, process, characters and exposition of the creation. Chapter five mainly generalized why Yoshimoto Nara’s artworks are able to stir up such a craze in contemporary art and why the little girls in his artworks look naïve and lovely yet their eyes let out the complicated emotions deep in mind. The researcher concluded the theme and style of Yoshimoto Nara’s artworks and then adopted the style of his illustrations to create artworks suited to the field of depression prevention in mental development.
