中生代的白靈,以兩首得獎長詩崛起於詩壇,其後持續創作不輟。綜觀白靈的詩作內容,本論文從「民族意識的驅動」與「心靈觀照的回歸」兩大主題切入,試圖檢視白靈在知感合一的筆觸中所呈現的書寫面向。進一步剖析白靈長詩的敘事手法及小詩的意象經營,企圖耙梳詩人面對不同詩體的書寫模式,及證成白靈求新求變的精神。 白靈除了創作,亦戮力新詩的推廣,其熱忱表現於編詩、詩的聲光、詩的多媒體互動,以及創作詩論的發表。其創作詩論強調詩的「卵生法」,利用如遊戲般的不同途徑來產生意象,而逐步使一首詩誕生。本論文亦援引白靈的三本創作理論,來檢示白靈詩作及其詩論之間的對應關係,並期望達成對白靈詩作研究的深化,以及未來新詩教學的參考。
Abstract Bai Ling, at his middle age, sprang up in the field of modern poetry with two award-winning poems and remained a prolific poet thereafter. Based on the overview of his poetry, the study starts with topics, “the drive of national consciousness” and “the return of spiritual appreciation” respectively, attempting to examine Bai Ling’s poetic aspects presented from his intellectual and sensible style. The study further analyzes Bai Ling’s narrative techniques in the long poems as well as the imagery management in the minor verses, seeking to sort out his writing modes in various types of poems and to verify his spirit of innovation and creativity. In addition to poetic writing, Bai Ling has been dedicated to the promotion of modern poetry. He is enthusiastic about editing poetry and publishing poetry dissertations, caring much about audio-video effects and multimedia interaction in poems. He especially highlights the “oviparous” quality in modern poetry - exploiting a variety of merry ways to create imagery in a new poem. The study cites three of Bai Ling’s poetry-making dissertations to examine the correspondence between his poetry and theory, hoping to deepen the researches of Bai Ling’s poems and be a reference for the teaching of modern poetry in the future.
