「外星女性」形態變形之水墨創作

摘要 現代文明不斷在不可見和「不尋常」之間拉扯,語言和邏輯是如何誤導我們的理解能力。因此,過度強調理性反而會限制實相。的確我們特別容意被既定的外在事實所蒙蔽,而忽略了內在的真實感動。作者對外星人的容貌有很大的好奇和想像,因此,以「外星女性」形態變形圖像作為創作,變形表現是想突破造形的束縛,「外星女性」俱有高智慧,超能量,神秘感,及其形態充滿著不確定性和自由變形的特質,是作者遐想虛構的人物。 藝術家傳譯這些「女性形態」題材時,無論是「如花似玉」、「姿態婀娜」,或是「痛苦的美」、「昂貴的奢侈品」、「有毒的 禮物」等,這只是以不同的方式將女性的魅力表達出來而已,在中國文化裡頌揚女性美,通常用比較含蓄和象徵性的手法來表達,西方則是以較直接的自然主義方式來處理。 當代女性自覺必須擁有思想、經濟獨立自主,及擺脫父權的枷鎖,才能爭取完整的自主權,也方可達到自由、男女平等的公平待遇。現代「女性形態」呈現了顛覆以前傳統的刻板印象,表現出直率大膽、勇於追求自我,重視自己的感受等。 在多變與講求速度的科技時代,已經非傳統繪畫技法所能滿足的,當我們有更快速、更貼切表達心境的方法時,是值得我們去開發和實驗的,所以在傳統水墨與當代媒材的實驗中,以嘗試在嘗試的實驗精神,期待能找到具有當代性水墨的新風貌。

Abstract Modern civilization is constantly dragging between "it is invisible" and "it is unusual"; language and logic somehow mislead our understanding ability. Therefore, overemphasizing reason will limit the reality that is confined in the visible and sensible world. Indeed, we are easily blinded by the outer definite facts especially, and ignore the inner real feeling instead. The author has very great curiosity and imagination for the women extra-terrestrial features, and takes the pictures of "the women extra-terrestrial for the variety in shapes" as creation. The display of the deformation is to break the constraints of the shaping. "The women extra-terrestrial" have the characters of high intelligence, exceeding energy, and mystique; and the shape is full of uncertain and free characteristics. They are the fictitious personages of the author's reverie. Artists translate the subject of "woman shape" no matter what is "as pretty as flower", "graceful posture", or "painful beauty", "expensive luxury", "poisonous present"...etc all expressed glamour of women in different ways. Such kind of subject is to praise feminine charm in Chinese culture. It is usually interpreted with more implicit and symbolizing ways; however, in the Western culture, it is interpreted more directly by naturalism. Contemporary women must have thoughts, economic independence and the initiative consciously, and get rid of the chains of the patriarchy in order that they can strive for the intact autonomy, and get the fair treatment of the freedom and equality between men and women. The modern woman's shape appears to subvert the past of the traditional and mechanical impression and represents frankly and boldly to pursue what she wants or pays attention to her own feeling. In the changeable, rapid, scientific and technological era, we are not satisfied with traditional painting skill and technique. If we have faster or proper methods to express our mind, it is worth to develop and experiment. Therefore, we are looking forward to finding new features of contemporary Water Chinese Ink style with experimenting spirit from the experiments of traditional ink and modern media.
