基督長老教會音樂事工在嘉義發展現況研究-以過溝、水上、西門教會為例

摘要

長老教會傳入台灣已有147年的歷史，深耕嘉義這塊土地也有近140年，已發展出屬於當地教會的特色。音樂事工是教會中相當重要的一部分，其涵蓋運用的範圍也相當廣闊，此篇論文是研究長老教會在嘉義地區音樂事工運用的現況，包含了音樂在傳教上與禮拜中的運用情形，並以過溝、水上與西門教會當作研究的對象。論文先概述了台灣基督長老教會與教會音樂發展的歷史與背景，接著介紹過溝、水上與西門教會歷史與教會現況，並加入牧者對於傳教的看法與策略。再分別從教會對內與對外的音樂運用作研究。接著觀察出過溝、水上與西門教會在時代演進下音樂事工發展的共同趨勢，並說明三間教會音樂事工現今差異的情況與造成差異之關鍵。

Presbyterian Church was introduced to Taiwan in 1865. Its expansion in Chiayi has been almost 140 years and has developed particular characteristics in local churches. Music ministry, filled with extensive exercises and events, plays an important role in church. The objective of this research is to explore the music ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Chiayi---exemplified by Kuokou、Shuishang and Hsimen church, including its involvement in missionary work and worship. This thesis described the history and background of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan and the advancement of church music. Kuokou, Shuishang and Hsimen church were used to investigate the perspectives and strategies of minister on missionary work and church music. This thesis also discussed the internal and external activities respectively. Lastly, the thesis provided a summary of the common trends in the advancement of music ministry among the churches and explained the factors that caused their difference.
