虛擬攝影棚在台灣電視節目製作之發展與應用

摘要

虛擬攝影棚是傳播科技及節目製作技術精進下的產物，在國外利用虛擬攝影棚製播新聞、體育、兒童等各類型節目，皆有成功的先例，而台灣目前對虛擬攝影棚的應用有限，在節目製作之規劃及技術應用仍有極大之發展空間。未來電視市場邁入多頻道環境後，內容或創意稀少性的問題更是日益重要，虛擬攝影棚對於台灣電視媒體未來將面臨的高需求節目量、低製作成本，提供了一個良好的解決途徑。
為將虛擬攝影棚之特性充份發揮運用，促使更多品質更好、內容更豐富的電視節目製作，本研究從虛擬攝影棚的技術發展、他國經驗、媒體生態等各層面之剖析，並以德菲法進行三回合的專家問卷調查，蒐集專家意見，探討虛擬攝影棚最大效益，未來可能應用，虛擬攝影棚未來在台灣電視節目製作環境之應用，其所需資源與可能面臨之瓶頸。
研究結果顯示，虛擬攝影棚的最大效益為減少重建現場的製作成本；利用虛擬攝影棚最適合製作的節目類型為新聞性節目；虛擬攝影棚未來最可行的應用為結合後端電腦資料庫，提供即時資訊；台灣未來發展虛擬攝影棚所需首要資源為強大的電腦性能；未來發展虛擬攝影棚的關鍵瓶頸為台灣電視台大量購買外來節目，節目自製率低落。台灣未來若欲發展虛擬攝影棚，必須加強相關人力訓練，提升專業製作能力；才能充份發揮虛擬攝影棚效益，製作高品質、有價值的節目內容。

Although applications of virtual studio (VS) continue to evolve, most TV stations in Taiwan have no plan to prepare for future development. In order to develop such a plan, a vision of the future of Virtual Studio needs to be formed. This study attempted to create such a vision by predicting the VS applications that will become prevalent, the resources required to support these applications, and the major obstacles that will need to be overcome.
To address these issues, experts who specialize in VS participated in a three-round Delphi study. Findings indicated that future VS applications will be those that display rich information integrated with database. The major bottleneck in the future development of VS is the media environment in Taiwan. There is potentiality in the development of VS in Taiwan media environment. However, the training of production staff and the promotion of their expertise will be essential preconditions for the applications of VS to produce high-quality content.
