大專院校通識課程推行永續教育之研究

摘要


本研究之目的在藉由藉由問卷調查瞭解台灣大專院校學生對於永續發展的覺知、知識、態度與行動技能;並以國立台灣師範大學選修通識課程「環境倫理與永續發展」80名學生為研究對象,希望藉由教師實施永續發展教育課程來深入了解學生學習的歷程與成效。 本研究歸納結論如下: 一、大專院校學生永續發展內涵,在永續發展的覺知方面,會注意到生活週遭所看到或聽到的環境議題,但較少會持續關心這些議題;在永續發展的概念知識方面,介於「有聽過但不清楚」與「閱讀過相關資料」之間,顯示大專院校學生在永續發展的概念知識方面仍有加強空間;在永續發展的態度及價值觀方面,普遍具備正向的永續發展態度及價值觀;在永續發展的行動技能與行動經驗方面,大專院校學生願意將責任感轉化為具體的行動,普遍具備對環境友善的的永續發展行動技能與行動經驗。 二、一整個學期的「環境倫理與永續發展」課程進行下來,授課教師以永續教育、永續環境、永續社會與永續行動四個層面實施環境教育,從學生的回饋當中顯示,這樣的方式的確能夠兼具認知、情意與技能領域的學習。面對自己週遭的生活環境不再漠視與無知,相反地會主動關懷自然生態與人文環境,也了解人類文化(社會、政治、經濟、科技等)對環境的影響。

This study tries to comprehend universities and colleges students' perception , knowledge, attitude, and action skill toward sustainable development through questionary. Finally, by studying eighty students who take general curriculum "environment ethic and sustainable development" in National Taiwan Normal University, this study hope to deeply understand students' learning process and effects through sustainable development education courses that are really taught by school teachers.The results are given as the following: 1.The content of sustainable development contains perception, general knowledge, attitude, value, action skill and action experience. In the perception of sustainable development, universities and colleges students know to notice the environment issue that they see or hear in their daily life, but few students constantly concern about these issues. In the general knowledge of sustainable development, students' level is between "have heard but not very clear" and " have read relative data." This situation shows that students' general knowledge about sustainable development still needs to be educated more. In attitude and value, most students have positive attitude and value toward sustainable development. In action skill and action experience, students are willing to turn responsibility into concrete action, and most of them have action skill and action experience in sustainable development, which is helpful to environment. 2.During the courses "environment ethic and sustainable development " which is taught in a full semester, teachers teach environment education by using sustainable education, sustainable environment, sustainable society and sustainable action these four aspects. From students' feedback, it shows that this kind of teaching method does help students' learning in perception, emotion and skill toward their living environment. Students do not ignore and treat environment around them with indifference anymore. They learn to concern about natural ecosystem and civilization environment. Besides, they also learn to understand the influence of human culture including society, politics, economy and technology to environment.
