以資料探勘技術探討高中生使用圖書館之行為模式--以國立台灣師範大學附屬高級中學為例

摘要

在數位化的時代裡，資料收集與資料探勘，被視為是單位中制訂政策與決策建立時的一項具有高度參考價值的資訊。圖書館經營的目的就是要能夠更符合讀者的需求，於是主動發掘讀者的需求，主動提供讀者所需要的資訊，便是現今圖書館重要的工作項目，而圖書館自動化系統便是讀者積極滿足個人資訊需求的行為結果，也是讀者使用圖書館資源的最佳證據。在資料探勘的過程中，首先要先確定研究主題，本研究是以國立台灣師範大學附屬高級中學高中部學生，在圖書館自動化系統中的借閱記錄為軸心，並加入學生的學籍資料與成績資料來當作探勘時的特性區分，經過資料的整理與資料的轉換，建立起資料倉儲。針對所建立的資料倉儲，作群集分析、分類分析與關聯規則分析的資料探勘，探勘的項目以五個維度「圖書」、「讀者」、「時間」、「學生成績」及「任課教師」做交叉分析，最後所得的結果即是學生使用圖書館的一個行為模式。這些行為模式除了是直接反映出學生使用圖書館的行為模式之外，同時針對這些模式來作分析，可以提供圖書館在做經營決策時，一個重要的而且客觀的參考依據，這些經營決策包含了館藏政策、圖書推薦、預算分配以及圖書館經營等工作。

In the age of digitization, when it comes to policy decision and decision-making in an organization, data collection and data mining are viewed as excellent reference resources. The purpose of library management is to meet readers’ needs. Therefore, it is important for libraries to take the initiative to explore readers’ requests and to provide them with the necessary materials. Library automation systems is not only the result of readers’ satisfying their information needs but also the best evidence of how readers use library resource. In the process of data mining, the first step is to decide on the key subject of the research. My research studies borrowing history records of library automation systems of high school students in the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University. I use student databases and grades as different classes to build up a data warehouse by means of data cleaning and data transformation. I then analyze the data warehouse based on five parameters: collection, user, time, grade, and teacher to make crisscross analyses which are cluster analysis, classification analysis, and association rules analysis. The final result of my analyses is the behaviors of how students use a library. It is a crucial and objective reference for the library to make management decisions including collection policy, library recommendations, budget allocation, and library-management.
