使用自由軟體教學對高職生電腦應用課程學習成效與電腦態度影響之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討建置適切地高職自由軟體教學環境及使用自由軟體教學對高職電腦應用課程之學習成效和電腦態度的影響。其主要的研究目的為:一、建構一個適用於高職的自由軟體教學環境。二、探討使用自由軟體教學與商業軟體教學後,對高職學生電腦應用課程學習成效之影響。三、瞭解使用自由軟體教學與商業軟體教學,對高職學生電腦態度之影響。四、探討使用自由軟體教學與商業軟體教學後,高職學生電腦應用課程的學習成績與電腦態度是否有相關。五、瞭解使用自由軟體教學後,高職學生對自由軟體使用的看法。六、根據研究結果,提出具體建議,供教育單位實施自由軟體教學及改進高職電腦課程教學之參考。本研究首先蒐集相關文獻進行分析探討,實際建置一個以自由軟體為基礎的教學環境,並以高職一年級學生為對象,進行為期四週的實驗教學,實驗後得到以下結論:一、在高職學校適切地建構一個以自由軟體為基礎的資訊教學環境是可行且不困難的。二、電腦軟體教學不會因為使用自由軟體或商業軟體,對學生的電腦學習成效與電腦態度造成影響。三、採用自由軟體教學前後,對學生的電腦態度沒有造成顯著的影響。四、性別因素不會影響自由軟體學習成效與電腦態度。五、自由軟體教學的學習成效與電腦態度有相關。六、高職學生對自由軟體的接受度良好。

This study was to discuss vocational high school students' computer learning achievement and computer attitude in applied computer courses, as effected by the establishment of an adequate teaching environment of free software as well as by the use of free software. The main purposes of this study were as follows: first, to establish a free software teaching environment as befits vocational high schools; second, to discuss vocational high school students' achievement in applied computer courses after the employment in teaching of free software and commercial software; third, to comprehend how the employment in teaching of free software and commercial software affected vocational high school students' computer attitude; fourth, to discuss whether there was a correlation between vocational high school students' computer attitude and their grades in applied computer courses; fifth, to comprehend vocational high school students' viewpoint toward the use of free software after the employment in teaching of free software; and sixth, to bring forth in accordance with the research results substantial suggestions for educational institutes' reference on the implementation of free software pedagogy and on the improvement of the teaching of computer courses in vocational high schools. This study began with the collection and analysis of related literature, and then performed, with first-year students in a vocational high school as test subjects, a four-week-long experimental teaching. The following conclusions as a result were derived: first, the adequate construction in vocational high schools of a free software-based information teaching environment is feasible and not difficult; second, the employment in teaching of free software or commercial software does not, on the general, affect students' computer attitude or their performance computer-wise; third, the employment in teaching of free software does not affect students' computer attitude, both prior and posterior to the experiment; fourth, gender does not affect students computer attitude and their grades in learning free software; fifth, students computer attitude is correlated with their grades in learning free software; and sixth, free software proved popular with vocational high school students
