數位影像在形態漸變上的研究與應用

摘要

宇宙萬物不論有生命、無生命都會經成、住、壞、空的階段，都是一種漸變的歷程。物種的進化，由無到有、由單細胞到多細胞、由海洋到陸地到天空、由一個點到各種形態，千變萬化，無奇不有，印證了形態演變的豐富性。
在視覺藝術上，漸變是一種美感形式，基本形經大小、方向、位置、色彩、材質、形態等規律性的漸變與連續性排列，會使人產生律動、空間、速度等感覺。漸變的範圍包羅廣泛，一般作品以抽象的、幾何的基本形，搭配骨架呈數列關係排列變化的居多。自然形態的漸變較不多見，自然形態的漸變可將風馬牛不相及的事物關聯在一起，饒富趣味；可使不同的主題內容在不知不覺中顯現，達到印象反轉的效果，是值得繼續開發的領域。
以電腦從事設計已是時之所趨，用於視覺藝術上的兩大類軟體：向量繪圖與影像處理，各有專擅的功能，也各有其適合的表現方式與獨特面貌。本研究以自然形態的漸變為主軸，以電腦為創作媒材，探討兩種軟體在技巧上的限制，並比較其視覺效果之差異。

For all creatures in the universe, no matter in life form or inorganic, have to process through stages of birth, growing, aging, and death. It is a gradation process. The evolution of creatures from none existence to existence, from single to multi cells, from the ocean to the sky, a single point to various forms. It is full of changing and varieties. This also proves the idea of any form could be gradated to any other kind of forms.
In the Visual Art definition, gradation is a rule of esthetic. The basic forms through size, orientation, position, colors, textures and shapes to gradate in rhythm as well as reorganize continuously to create feelings of rhythms, space and speed. The gradation scope includes various contents. General works are presented in abstract and/or geometry basic form to cope with skeleton to lay a linen relationship, on the other hand, the natural form of presentation are rare. Natural forms of gradation could relate different things together. This creates a fun atmosphere, and enables different subjects to explicit in an unintended manner to reach twisting image. This is a field worth developing.
It is a trend to use computer as design aid and there are tow major software programs apply in visual arts: vector image and raster image. They have individual special functions and fit into unique presentations. The research uses natural form’s gradation as major axis, use computer as creating media to investigate limitations of these two software programs as well as their visual effects’ comparison.
