本研究旨在探討「我國北部地區大學宿舍社會氣氛與學生住宿滿意度之研究」,除探討我國大學宿舍社會氣氛與學生住宿滿意度之現況、兩者之關係外,並探討哪些宿舍社會氣氛可以預測學生住宿滿意度,以做為學校宿舍輔導單位、學生及同儕、父母、及未來進一步研究之參考。 本研究採用調查研究法,以自編之「大學宿舍社會氣氛」與「學生住宿滿意度調查問卷」為研究工具,並選取北部地區八所719名住宿學生為研究對象(公私立各四所),問卷內容包括三個部分:第一部份為宿舍社會氣氛,包括:「歸屬感」、「投入/支持」、「獨立/適應」、「課業學習/知識」、「秩序/組織」、「學生自主權」、及「革新」七個層面。第二部分為學生住宿滿意度,探討學生對宿舍「居住功能」、「學習與發展功能」、及「休閒與交誼功能」的滿意程度。第三部分為學生背景資料。 綜合研究結果,提出下列結論:一、我國北部地區大學住宿學生知覺之宿舍社會氣氛偏向「獨立/適應」及「投入/支持」氣氛,缺乏「課業學習/知識」氣氛。二、我國北部地區大學住宿學生最滿意宿舍的「休閒與交誼」功能,最不滿意宿舍的「學習與發展功能」。三、部分的學生與學校背景因素會影響住宿學生在宿舍社會氣氛的知覺上。四、部分的學生與學校背景因素會影響住宿學生的宿滿意度。五、宿舍社會氣氛和學生住宿滿意度有顯著相關,且對學生住宿滿意度有預測功能。 最後,根據研究結論,分別針對大學宿舍輔導規劃、學生及同儕、家長、及未來研究方面,提出具體建議。
The purpose of this research is to examine the social climate in college residence halls, student residential satisfaction, and the relationship between these two variables in northern area of our country. Further, the research examines what kinds of social climate in college residence hall can be predictors of student residential satisfaction in order to provide some implementations for college resident administrators, students and peers, parents, and further studies as a reference. The research method adopted here is questionnaire, and the instruments used in this research are “Questionnaire of Social Climate” and “Questionnaire of Student Residential Satisfaction” Four public and private universities and 719 college residents in northern area of Taiwan are selected as research objects. The questionnaire is divided into three parts. Part one is about social climate in residence hall, including “belonging”, “involvement / support”, “independence / adaptation”, “academic learning / intellectuality”, “order / organization”, “student influence”, and “innovation”. Part two is about student residential satisfaction, and it examines students’ satisfaction with “living function”, “learning and development function”, as well as “recreational and social function” in residence hall. Part three is about students’ background data. According to the results, the conclusions are as fallows: 1、Residential students perceive more “independence / adaptation” and “involvement / support” climate than “academic learning / intellectual” climate. 2、Residential students are more satisfied with “recreational and social function” than “learning and development function” in residence hall. 3、Some demographic and institutional variables influence residential students’ perceptions on social climate. 4、Some demographic and institutional variables influence students’ residential satisfaction. 5、There is a positive relationship between the social climate in residence hall and student residential satisfaction, and social climate in residence hall can be a predictor to student residential satisfaction. Finally, based on research conclusions, it provides some concrete recommends in order to implementations for college resident administrators, students and peers, parents, and further studies as a reference.
