The most frequently used after-school assessments by Chinese teachers will be giving dictation quizzes. However, for Mexican students who study Chinese as the second or third foreign language and are not accustomed to dictation quizzes, usually they will think that the dictation test is a traditional and old-style test method. Although the results are visible over time but are not instant. In this way, the author hopes to explore whether Chinese dictation quiz has certain help and effect on memorizing Chinese characters. The main subjects of this study were Spanish-speaking learners from Tec de Monterey, and will be using the results of the exam, semester observation, group tests and questionnaire survey of 27 university students from Chinese 1 for data collection and analyzation. After research and observation, it is found that systematically arranging Chinese dictation is indeed helpful for students' Chinese character learning.
