不同特性的網路遊戲參與者對網路遊戲犯罪行為知覺差異之分析

摘要


近年來網路遊戲變成熱門的休閒活動,卻衍生不少犯罪問題。本研究旨在探討網路遊戲特性與犯罪行為之關係。目的:1. 瞭解目前網路遊戲及參與者的現況;2. 瞭解網路遊戲參與者認同之遊戲特性;3. 瞭解網路遊戲參與者犯罪知覺情形;4. 分析遊戲參與者人口統計變項與網路遊戲特性之關係;5. 探討遊戲參與者人口統計變項與網路遊戲犯罪行為知覺之關聯;6. 分析網路遊戲特性集群與遊戲犯罪行為知覺之關聯。研究方法以文獻整理、新聞分析與網路問卷調查,在2015年9月期間取得有效樣本401份。分析方法使用SPSS20.0版進行描述性統計、集群分析、單因子變異數分析及卡方檢定進行分析。研究結果:1. 網路遊戲參與者人口可依特性分為「重度資深經濟型玩家、中度年輕玩家、輕度高學歷玩家」;2. 網路遊戲參與者認同之遊戲特性可分為「簡單小遊戲型、角色主題任務型、連線對戰社群型、全面重視型」;3. 犯罪知覺接近程度依序為外掛程式、買賣詐欺、假冒身分竊取帳密虛寶、社交工程、冒用名義申請帳號或購買點數。4. 不同人口集群在競爭挑戰性、匿名性、虛擬性上有差異,與遊戲特性集群有顯著相關;5. 遊戲參與者人口集群與身份竊盜、利用工具、其他衍生之犯罪有顯著相關;6. 網路遊戲特性集群與身份竊盜、遊戲詐騙、利用工具、利用系統漏洞有顯著相關。研究建議根據研究結論之遊戲人口、特性以及常見犯罪以及特性與犯罪相關的元素,作為遊戲玩家、遊戲公司以及犯罪調查上之參考;後續研究上建議可加入訪談、田野調查以及實際參與的研究方式,深化研究內涵。

In recent years, online games has gained significant interest in many people’s leisure activity but they also can result in criminal issues. This study aims to investigate the relation between game features and criminal acts. Here are the objectives: 1. To understand current situation of online games and online gamers. 2. To understand how well the gamers acknowledge the game features. 3. To understand the gamers’ degree of awareness to the criminal behaviors. 4. To analyze the relation between gamers’ demographic backgrounds and the game features. 5. To examine the relation between gamers’ demographic backgrounds and gamers’ degree of awareness to the criminal behaviors. 6. To analyze the relation between online-game features cluster and gamers’ awareness to the criminal behaviors. The research uses descriptive statistics, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA and Chi-square test for data analysis. The results are as follow: 1. The gamers can be categorized into three types, “severe addictive gamer,” “moderate young gamer,” and “mild high-educated gamer.” 2. The game features acknowledged by online gamers are “simple type,” “role-play and task-oriented type,” “social battle type,” and “all-included type.” 3. The criminal behaviors that are aware by gamers are (level in descending order): plugins, trading fraud, identity theft, social engineering, and impersonating for opening accounts or buying points. 4. “Challenging,” “Anonymity,” and “Virtuality” work different on gamer type and gamer type has highly positive correlation on game feature type. 5. Different gamer type has highly positive correlation on identity theft, crime through instrumen or other criminal related issues. 6. Gamer type has highly positive correlation on identity theft, fraud, crime through instrumen, and system vulnerability. The result of this study can provide benefits for online gamers, game companies, and crime investigation according to gamer popularity, game features, common criminal behaviors, and the elements in features and criminal related issues. According to this study results, researchers are suggested to explore the criminal issues by taking interviews, conduct field studies; using practical methods to enrich this study.
