臺灣北管音樂、客家八音、客家戲曲、採茶戲、歌仔戲等傳統音樂戲曲,建構出臺灣各個族群的文化脈動。本論文以客家音樂戲曲之中,客家八音與客家戲的藝術展演、傳承教育之制度以及文化保存的實踐為探討方向,而論文主題之對象以客家文化傳承的重要推手鄭榮興教授,以及其家族與傳統文化藝術的關聯作探討。 本論文架構分為三個章節,第一章傳統音樂之世家:從先祖音樂之經營、家族背景與環境,延伸至鄭榮興教授之音樂學習歷程及養成訓練,並探討早期之傳統音樂演出型態與狀況。第二章傳統音樂藝術之造詣:將歸納鄭榮興創作傳統音樂、器樂演奏曲等作品;以陳家班北管八音團為例,探討客家八音之藝術性;比較三腳採茶戲至精緻客家大戲之發展,以榮興客家採茶劇團觀之。第三章學術成就與傳承貢獻:研究鄭榮興教授之專書著作、學術論文等客家音樂戲曲之相關資料,及其在藝術傳習計畫等教育方面,對傳統藝術扎根的堅持與理念。結論則將鄭榮興教授於音樂藝術家、學術研究者、教育者及經營者等不同腳色中做連結,以統整本研究論文之總結。
Opera styles such as Taiwanese Pei-Kuan, Hakka Pa-Yin, Hakka Opera, Tea picking opera and Taiwanese Opera make up the main stream of cultural interaction between people of diverse backgrounds. This thesis focuses on the culture preservation of Hakka Pa-Yin and Hakka Opera's performance, inheritance and educational system. This thesis is dedicated to Porf. Cheng Rom-Shing, who is a prominent figure in the field of preservation of Hakka culture. It also discusses his family's connection with traditional art and culture. This thesis consists of three sections. The first section focuses on the important families' background, the circumstances they were in, and the way they ran the traditional music industry. It further discusses Prof. Chang Rom-Shing's musical background and up-bringing as well as the forms and status of early performances of traditional music. The second section reviews the artistic attainment of tradition music. It documents Cheng Rom-Shing's composition as well as instrumental performances of traditional music. Using Miao-Li Chen Family Pei-Kuan Pa-Yin Group as an example, to analyze the artistic value and development of Hakka Pa-Yin compared to the Three role tea-picking opera and Rom-Shing Hakka Opera Group. The third section discusses the academic and educational accomplishments of Porf. Cheng Rom-Shing. Deep analysis of the persistence, spirit and methods of artistic inheritance and education from books and thesis by Prof. Cheng Rom-Shing. The conclusion connects and compares Prof. Cheng Rom-Shing with other musical artists, scholars, pedagogues and proprietors to reach a final statement.
