本文以灣生鈴木怜子(1935~)所著回憶錄《南風如歌——一位日本阿嬤的臺灣鄉愁》(2014)為研究對象,討論灣生在臺日歷史上的意義與重要性。鈴木怜子如何建構其「灣生」身分、成為灣生,且在戰前、戰後與社會經歷上有何特殊性,需理解回憶錄《南風如歌》的脈絡性與策略性。 首要探討殖民地臺灣的在臺日人與灣生的生活經驗與情況,主以鈴木怜子家族為討論中心。再分析「引揚」的集體記憶與離散的敘事問題,指出鈴木怜子有兩次的離散經驗,分別是1948年的引揚以及1954年的前往美國留學。進一步詮釋分析回憶錄《南風如歌》時,以敘事學理論討論書籍編排、人物形象、文化再現,且運用「敘事認同」的理論觀察,指出「灣生」的身分建構、國族認同與敘事意義呈顯多重混雜的敘事認同現象。 本文凸顯灣生研究的歷史意義與詮釋的多元視角,包括重新思考「灣生」一詞與臺日歷史上的定位。透過灣生鈴木怜子與《南風如歌》,勾勒家族歷史的脈絡,亦有回憶錄的各種閱讀架構,期許能厚植臺日研究的底蘊,發揚臺日文學與文化的淑世意義。
The Wansei Suzuki Reiko (1935~) memoirs " The song of the South " (2014) as the research object, discuss the significance and importance of the Gulf in Taiwan and Japan's history. Wansei Suzuki Reiko how to construct their identity, and before the war, war what is the particularity and social experience, need to understand " The song of the South " train of thought and strategy. The first part is to discuss the living experience and situation of the Japanese in Taiwan and the Gulf students in the colonial Taiwan. The main focus of the discussion is the Suzuki Reiko family. Then the collective memory and discrete narrative problems of "Yang" are analyzed. It is pointed out that Suzuki Reiko has two discrete experiences, one is from 1948 and the other is to study in the United States on 1954. This paper discusses the arrangement of books, the image of characters, the reproduction of culture, and points out the identity construction of " Wansei " by using the theory of "narrative identity". National identity and narrative significance show a mixed narrative identity phenomenon. This paper highlights the historical significance and interpretation of the study of Wansei Health from multiple perspectives, including rethinking the word " Wansei " and the historical positioning of Taiwan and Japan. Through Suzuki Reiko and " The song of the South ", the author outlines the context of the family history. There are also various reading structures in memoirs, which are expected to enrich the study of Taiwan Wansei and promote the significance of literature and culture in Taiwan and Japan.
