海流資料同化方案之建立

摘要

臺灣四周環海，海洋流場研究為我國國防、漁業、航運、救災、永續發展等的重要基石。海洋流場之觀測因受限於天氣、人力、航期規劃等、不易執行空間上大範圍的連續測量。相較於海表面的流場測量可輔以海表流速觀測浮標（Surface Velocity Program drifter, SVP drifter）等儀器來補足，次表層海流資料的取得仍十分困難。本研究藉由運用表面海流觀測資料對海洋模式進行同化，可使模式的次表層海流之模擬結果更趨近於觀測結果。研究中以船載式都卜勒流剖儀（ship-board Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler, sb-ADCP）所測量的海流資料，應用基於艾克曼理論所發展之同化技術，並帶入交互校準多重衛星風場資料（Cross-Calibrated Multi-Platform, CCMP）運算，來修正混合坐標海洋模式（Hybrid Coordinate Ocean Model, HYCOM）之模擬結果。再將HYCOM修正前後資料分別與sb-ADCP資料比對。比對結果可知此同化方法，可使該區域HYCOM模式上層資料更趨近ADCP觀測資料，達成改善模式資料之目的。本研究以海表面風影響海流變化原理的修正，惟因海表面風並非影響上層海流之唯一因素，所以在未來工作上將加入其他影響因素的研究，使模式資料同化結果更符合實際海流流況。
