音樂系所學生資訊需求與資訊尋求行為研究

摘要


本研究利用問卷調查音樂系所學生使用校內圖書館之頻率,分析學生資訊需求為何、使用圖書館的頻率、透過何種管道與資源滿足其資訊需求,並收集學生建議,了解學生查找資源時遇到的問題與困難。研究透過網路與紙本的方式共發送445份研究問卷,最終收集了432份有效問卷,以SPSS統計軟體進行統計分析,整理結果如下: 一、圖書館使用頻率 音樂系所大學生與碩、博士生造訪圖書館及借閱館藏的頻率皆不高;很少使用圖書館的線上館藏資源;也很少利用行動裝置使用學校線上資源館藏。 二、資訊需求與資訊尋求行為 音樂系所學生最喜歡利用YouTube平台尋找免費影片;瀏覽電子資料庫、電子書使用比例低於瀏覽電子雜誌、聆聽線上音樂圖書館;分享與其他音樂家的合照、宣傳將舉行的表演/活動/時間表、尋找其他音樂家組成合奏團;音樂系所學生平時多數忙碌於樂器獨奏與合奏演奏,家教與書本樂譜收集位居第二。學校(本系)音樂教師/私人音樂老師、朋友/家庭成員以及音樂家(非系上教授)是學生最常詢問的對象。 三、學生對於圖書館的看法 希望學校圖書館能增加樂譜量,尤其是近代樂譜。也希望圖書館系統能強化檢索功能,加強關鍵字搜尋,圖書館資源曝光度可以上升。

This research use questionnaires to investigate the frequency of students' use of the campus library, analyzes what channels and resources students usually use for information behavior, and collected student suggestions to understand the problems and difficulties when students searching the resources. The research sent a total of 445 questionnaires through the Internet and paper, and 432 valid questionnaires were collected and analyzed by SPSS statistical software. Look at the following results: 1. Frequency of library use The frequency ranges of “visits to the library” by college students, masters and Ph.D. students is from sometimes to occasional; The frequency of “borrowing collections” is between occasional and sometimes; The point use of “online collection resources” is between rarely and never; The frequency of “using mobile devices to use library online resources” is from few to never. 2. Information needs and information seeking behavior of music students Music students like to use the YouTube channel to find videos; browsing online databases and e-books are lower than browsing online magazines and listening to online music libraries. 3. Information seeking behavior by music students Sharing photos with other musicians, announce the coming performances or events or timetables in social media, finding other musicians to make an ensemble, and creating the opportunities of performance are the most common self-marketing behaviors of students. 4. Usual information behavior of music students Most music students usually do is performing solo and ensemble with musical instruments, and the second one is home tutoring and book or sheet music collection. Free platforms such as Google and YouTube are the most popular channels for students. Among the subjects of consultation, school (department) music teachers/private music teachers, friends/family members, and musicians (non-department professors) are the most frequently asked by students. 5. Opinion with music students Many music students hope that campus library can increased modern sheet music in different music’s major. Strengthen the search function, improve the keyword search, and hope that the exposure of library resources can increase.
