以寵物特徵視覺化發展虛擬寵物之創作

Visualize with Pet Characteristics Evolve Into Virtual Pet in Product Creation

摘要


隨著現代越來越多人以養寵物取代結婚生子,台灣市場研究與洞察分析公司根據大數據追蹤推測,曾預估台灣將於2020年出現「黃金交叉」,全台犬貓隻數將會首度超過15歲以下的孩童數量,這也意味著寵物將佔未來經濟的一部份。對於飼主而言,寵物不僅僅是寵物,更是家中重要的陪伴者、家人,而寵物商品也因寵物幼兒化和寵物擬人化的現象,開始出現了照護產品及生活化服務等寵物商機,同時寵物也由傳統的貓、狗擴展到特殊寵物如刺蝟、蜘蛛、蛇等等,此現象更能產生激發許多衍生圖像及創意的題材。 本研究先以案例分析調查設計、寵物行業以及流行文化中的產品,並加以探討分析;接著利用Google問卷設計表單,透過問卷調查飼主如何定義寵物與自身之間的關係,亦得知飼主並不排斥虛擬寵物的產品;其次利用KJ法進行寵物歸類,再於配對寵物與詞彙的關係中,分別找出寵物、特殊寵物與虛擬寵物間不同的特點。而研究結果將虛擬寵物定義為兇猛卻無害的想像寵物、溫馴有個性的虛擬寵物、智慧且人性的類生物等三種大類型;並經彙整得出五種操作手法,分別為:觀察、類比、賦予情感、找出缺口、賦予特殊能力。其後,透過操作手法,將三種類型的寵物與產品相互配對,再加入寵物局部特徵,完成:「光獸-紫外線遮光罩」、「Fluffy Bird-情境燈」、「搖尾獸-互動感應裝置」等三種不同類型之設計創作,以呈現虛擬寵物當中意義的創作探索。

Nowadays, more and more people keep pets to replace having children. According to TrendSight Research & Consulting Inc. was predicts that Taiwan will have a "golden cross" in 2020. The number of dogs and cats in Taiwan will exceed the children under the age of 15 for the first time. The consumer market of pets will be part of future economy. In recent years, the range of pets are gradually expanded. For the pet owner, the pet was not just a pet, but an important companion as family member at home. Alternative pets like hedgehogs, spiders, snakes also be the new choice, not only familiar pets like dogs and cats. And that inspired many graphic images and ideation. This study first uses case studies to investigate design, pet industry, and products in popular culture, and then discusses and analyzes them. Then uses Google questionnaire design forms to investigate how owners define the relationship between pets and themselves through questionnaires. And last step uses KJ method for pets Categorize, and finally match the relationship between pets and vocabulary, find out the visual sensory experience of special pets, and find out the interactive relationship between virtual pets and owners. We found the vision experience and interactive relationship of alternative pets by grouping and clustering. And we define three types of alternative pets:Ferocious and Harmless Animal, Tame and Personality Animal, Wisdom and Humanity Animals. And then evolved five of operating methods:Observed、Analogy、Emotion、Gap、Special Power. Match the three types of pets with the product. Then complete:「Light Beast-UV Light」、「Fluffy Bird- Situational Lights」、「Wagging Tail Beast- Interactive Sensing Device」. Explore the meaning of virtual pets.
