臺灣藝術教育發展(2014-2021):美育期刊焦點話題之內容與視覺藝術專家觀點之研究

A Study of the Development in Arts Education of 2014-2021 in Taiwan: the Content Analysis of the Focus Issues in Journal of Arts Education and the Perspectives of Experts in Visual Arts

摘要


每年按隔月出版的美育,是我國藝術教育推廣之重要通俗刊物。其中,每期之焦點話題,更能作為觀察我國藝術於熱鬧鬥陣下之途徑。本研究之目的,經由梳理刊物其通俗與多元的藝術教育內容,映照在時間巨輪之下的臺灣在地藝術教育發展軌跡,故係以內容分析該刊物自2014年起至2021年之間所累積的230篇焦點話題文章,並輔以策畫引言至多的3位視覺藝術類專家訪談之混合研究。 研究結果顯示,焦點話題之藝術類別文章組構以「跨領域」25%、「視覺藝術」約21%位居一二;此外,文章所指涉的藝術教育實施範圍以「社會藝術教育」佔比逾57%;又,關鍵字次數累計前十有「舞蹈」、「藝術教育」、「創造力」、「表演藝術」、「音樂」、「課程設計」、「美感教育」、「藝術」、「戲劇顧問」、「戲劇教育」、「美感」等;再者,策劃引言人八成為高等教育教師,反映整體文章質與量兼顧,由專業教育工作者深入淺出帶出所欲傳達之藝術關鍵議題,也同時呼應刊物力行教育推廣之責任。 根據研究結果聚斂,本研究提出建議有三,宜強化訂閱出版追蹤制度,養成國民永續的藝術教育終身觀。倘若藝術教學能融合不同學科或藝術領域的學習共通語言,更能拓展學習個體之視野。最後,藝術是一個能讓人在時空遞嬗之下,具有培養感官省思與獨立思考的哲學性思考之物,因而閱讀藝術,成為反映人們生活與行為的最好方式。期望本研究經由美育焦點話題的歷代景觀之梳理與專家的言談之成果,能作為瞭解臺灣藝術教育發展脈絡之一方。

The Journal of Arts Education is a bimonthly publication that significantly contributes to the promotion of arts education in Taiwan. In particular, its feature story for each issue provides an excellent vantage point by which to observe the hot topics currently debated within the Taiwanese artistic community. Organizing such a compilation of the publication’s content regarding arts education in popular culture and multidisciplinary forms reflects the path paved by the wheel of time of Taiwan’s local development in arts education. This study is a mixed method research through analyzing the journal's 230 "Focus Issue" feature articles spanning the years 2014 to 2021, supplemented with interviews of three top cited visual arts experts. Research results show that for Focus Issue articles in the art category, number one and two in coverage ranking are given to the topics of "interdisciplinarity" (25%) and "visual arts" (~21%), respectively. In addition, concerning arts education implementation, 57% of such articles allude to "social arts education." The top 10 keywords are "dance," "arts education," "creativity," "performing arts," "music," "curriculum design," "aesthetic education," "art," "dramaturgy," "theatre education," "aesthetics," etc; Moreover, 80% of cited experts are higher education teachers, which reflect the quality and quantity of the articles overall, how key issues in the arts are acutely raised and conveyed via professional educators, and the responsibility of the publication in promoting education. Based on the aggregated research findings, this study has three recommendations. The journal should strengthen its subscription tracking system to nurture an attitude of sustainable, lifelong arts education in the general populace. Arts education that is integrated into various disciplines or provides a common instructional language in the fields of art may better expand the scope of learning for individuals. Finally, art is something that enables people to cultivate, through the passage of time and space, a philosophical mindset of sensory reflection and independent thought; thus, reading the arts becomes the best way to reflect upon people's lives and behaviors. This study hopes to serve as a means of understanding the context of arts education in Taiwan through the results of organizing the archived foci of featured topics in aesthetic education and discourses by experts.
