參與馬來西亞巴生興華中學醒獅隊經驗對其行為改變與生涯發展之影響

摘要


華文獨立中學是馬來西亞華人民族教育重要的環節,獨中是學生人格的塑造和民族 意識、情操培養的場域,同時也被視為負有維護發揚和延續傳承中華文化的重要責任和 使命。興華中學醒獅采青賀歲隊伍是學校一個特殊的學生團體,其團體不僅能發揚中華 文化,同時也是為學校籌募發展經費的來源之一。本研究探討參與馬來西亞巴生興華中 學醒獅采青賀歲隊伍經驗對其行為改變與生涯發展之影響。本研究方法採半結構式訪談 進行資料蒐集,最後選取共計 16 位曾參與學校醒獅隊隊員,以及 4 位在學校醒獅隊有 服務經驗之負責老師來佐證本研究。研究結果得知,一、透過接觸與參與醒獅隊,隊員 能夠建立新的認知、情意與技能,進而找到自己的定位及價值,亦在團隊中發揮所長。 二、醒獅隊隊員尚未於特定職業及領域發展,其皆處在結晶化之前的階段。三、學校醒 獅活動藉由「獅藝八德」培養隊員正向態度,並於未來生涯發展中學以致用,除了讓隊 員個性轉變為外向,也帶給隊員歸屬感,故醒獅隊的成就即為品德教育內化成內在價值, 其不僅傳承了中華民俗技藝,亦能培養青少年組織、應對與領導等能力。

As an essential part of Chinese education in Malaysia, an independent Chinese school is where students can develop their personality and national consciousness. Hence, the important responsibility and mission of the independent Chinese school are to preserve and promote Chinese culture. The Lion Dance team has not only promoted Chinese culture but also served as a source of fundraising for the school's development. The object was to understand the impact of participants’ behavioral change and career development among the Lion Dance team members at Hin Hua High School, a Chinese Independent School at Klang Valley. This qualitative research is conducted through semi-structured interviews with 16 members of the school's Lion Dance team and 4 teachers. The study's results revealed that through participating in the Lion Dance team, the members were able to develop new cognitive, affective, and skill sets, and then found their own identity and values which made use of their personal strengths in the team. Secondly, the members of the Lion Dance team had not connected to any specific career or field yet, they are in the pre-crystallization stage. By virtue of the "Eight Virtues of Lion Arts", the school's Lion Dance program helped team members cultivate positive attitudes. The achievement of the Lion Dance team was turning the internalization of moral education into intrinsic values, which not only transmitted Chinese folk arts and techniques but also cultivated the ability of youth to organize, coping, and leadership.
