台灣醫療服務水平居亞洲領先地位,在收費價格亦具有國際競爭力,卻受限於全民健保實施影響,造成醫療院所經營困難,因此極需強化經營模式,發展多元化醫療服務。而醫療觀光為目前亞洲地區熱門話題,透過觀光與醫療兩種不同產業,創造新的經營模式,預期將帶動國內相關產業發展、創造就業機會與經濟成長。 本研究透過專家訪談法與次級資料整理,了解台灣醫療服務業現況,並以鑽石模型、波特五力競爭模型、SWOT分析等方法,探討如何結合台灣優質醫療及觀光產業進行「醫療服務國際化」。 研究結果顯示,台灣醫療院所應強化其內部競爭優勢與相互支援,並以策略聯盟等方式克服對健保依賴,並研發各類自費品項以提高營收,引進更多管理思維與行政運作方式,達到台灣醫療服務業競爭優勢與國際化。
