摘要

本研究旨在探討價值投資策略運用在美國ETF上的操作績效。在2012至2020年期間，經由價值投資的三項財務指標，即本益比、股價淨值比與股息率，本研究擬定價值投資兩策略，作為買賣操作的依據，運用在美國追蹤標準普爾500指數的VOO與追蹤那斯達克100指數的QQQ兩支ETF上。
實證結果顯示，價值投資應用在美國ETF上的績效表現，優於指數表現。價值投資不僅應用在ETF上有優秀表現，且操作次數不頻繁，符合持有ETF之精神，二者可謂相輔相成。此外，本研究的策略二績效表現較策略一更佳，顯示股息率在本研究中所發揮的成效不如預期般重要。

Abstract
This study aims to assess the performance of value investing strategies applied to two US ETFs. In this research, two value investing strategies using three financial indicators including the price-to-earnings ratio, the price-to-book ratio and the dividend yield are adopted to VOO and QQQ during 2012 to 2020 within an appropriate margin of safety to see if they can beat the indexes they track.
The empirical results show that value investing strategies applied to the two US ETFs generated superior return than the index. Value investing not only outperforms the index when applied to ETFs, but also trades infrequently, which meets the spirit of holding ETFs. In short, Value investing and ETFs complement each other. In addition, the performance of strategy two of this study is better than strategy one, which shows that the effectiveness of dividend rate in this study is not as important as expected.
