閱讀策略教學對學童創造力之影響

摘要


創造力與閱讀兩者有著相同的神經機制,都需要舉一反三的能力,要提升創造力就需要從閱讀做起,因為閱讀有助於開發腦神經連接,閱讀得多,腦神經會越連越密集,就會更有創造力。故本研究旨在探討閱讀策略教學對學童創造力之相關性,採用「閱讀動機量表」、「陶倫斯創造思考測驗」、「威廉斯創造傾向量表」等量表進行前、後測,並於閱讀策略教學當中配合自編的閱讀策略教案、學習單、學生作品訪談、課室視察記錄、教師省思札記等相關資料,期望能以多面向、多元的資料來進行檢證與回饋,其結果如下:一、閱讀策略教學確實能提升學童在創造力的表現,在認知方面以流暢力、變通力、精進力上的表現較明顯,唯在獨創力方面較無明顯改變。二、閱讀策略教學在創造力情意方面以好奇、想像、挑戰的表現進步較多,唯在冒險方面無明顯改變與進展。三、閱讀策略教學能提升學童的閱讀動機,幫助學童將外在的閱讀動機轉變為內在閱讀動機,讓學童從閱讀中獲得樂趣、提升閱讀自信,培養良好的閱讀習慣,讓閱讀融入生活中。四、閱讀策略教學過程中學生變得更勇於想像、充滿期待與好奇面,對困難和挑戰時也願意去想辦法解決問題,學生作品多元且豐富,因此可以得知閱讀策略教學對提升學童在創造力認知、情意、態度方面是有成效的。本研究建議教師可及早實施閱讀策略教學,提供更多元的教材,讓學生創造成功經驗、增加閱讀時間、促進學生高層次思考以提升創造力。

Abstract The purple of this study is to investigate the influences on reading strategies and students’ creativity. The researcher uses pretests and post-tests to inter-verify the impacts of different reading strategies and students’ creativity. The tests-- Motivation for Reading Questionnaire (MRQ), Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT) and Creativity Assessment Packet (CAT) are adopted to analyze the data. The study used other materials, such as the Self-designed Reading Activities, Students’ Worksheets, Students Interview, Class Observation, Teachers’ feedback to have a broader perspective. The results of the research as follows: 1. The reading strategies could obviously inspire students’ fluency, flexibility, and elaboration in creativity. 2. By adopting different reading strategies, the students can raise their curiosity, imagination, and challenge. 3. Promoting reading instruction could increase students’ motivation. Reading motivation can be transformed from external to internal. The enjoyment of reading is increased and reading habit maybe established. 4. Through the reading comprehension, the students are able to ask more questions and see more deeply in reading thinking. Therefore, the reading strategies can be concluded to have positive effects in promoting the creativity, recognition, and attitude of learning.
