台灣本島有許多的長途交通運輸工具,如航空、鐵路、捷運及公路客運皆發展各自的形態。台灣鐵路管理局(簡稱台鐵),在全台鐵路是獨占市場;台灣高鐵(簡稱高鐵)加入鐵路運輸後,為台灣交通史上寫下了嶄新的一頁。目前台灣的長途鐵路市場是高鐵與台鐵,乘客在面對選擇搭乘的城際鐵路運具時,會根據這兩項運具的優劣去選擇。 本文之目的係由長途之旅客觀點探討其選擇台灣高鐵或台灣鐵路管理局之決策行為,同時以二元邏吉特模式實證分析長途乘客在選擇台灣高鐵或台灣鐵路管理局偏好的重要決策因素。研究結果顯示服務品質、與企業形象對乘客選擇台灣高鐵或台灣鐵路管理局具有顯著影響力,而服務態度、據點轉乘、廣告與促銷是較無相關的。
Taiwan owns a variety of long-distance transports, such as air, rail, MRT, & highway transports which have been well-developed. Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) used to be the only company that monopolized railway transportation. Taiwan High Speed Rail (HSR) that just joined the railway transportation has opened a new page in the history of Taiwan traffic. The two railway transporters constitute the long-distance railway market in Taiwan. While selecting an inter-city railway transportation, the passengers will definitely consider the pros & cons of these two companies. The purpose of this paper from the passenger point of view of their choice, or super-& HSR in Taiwan market preference, the choice of HSR or TRA, the decision-making behavior, & empirical analysis of binary logit model of consumers in the choice of HSR or an important decision factor TRA preferences. The results showed that that service quality, & the image of the passengers chose Taiwan High Speed Rail & Taiwan Railway Administration has a significant influence on the attitude of service, interchange locations, advertising & promotion is more no correlation.
