台灣汽車產業成長策略之研究

摘要


汽車工業乃屬於資本集中以及技術密集的整合性工業,非但能創造出高附加價值,其所帶動之就業人口更甚於一般產業。近年來更由於台灣國民所得的大幅提升,使得對汽車的需求由奢侈品轉變為必需品。隨著台灣加入WTO,政府推動了一連串相關政策開放市場後,汽車工業便成為首當其衝面臨全球競爭的產業之一。廠商欲追求永續經營,除需專注本業的發展外,更應擬定因應環境的絕佳策略,才能提升競爭力並締造出高度獲利。 本研究以台灣前五大本土汽車製造廠為研究對象,分析各汽車廠商之成長策略,期待協助各車廠發展出全新的里程碑。透過個案分析,探討從廠商由創立至今的發展過程,如何成長並快速調整本身結構,以建立競爭優勢。

The motor industry could be categorized as the integrating industry which is highly dense in capitals and techniques. Not only can it provide high added value but also offers more job opportunities for workers than other industries. In the past, motor was a means of luxurious transportation but nowadays it has become a necessity for consumers due to the national income has been arisen substantially in Taiwan. Alongside the entering of WTO, the industry has been one of the industries which confronts globalising competition. When pursuing the sustainable business, it is vitally important to establish strategies to tackle the changing environment and further build up competitive ability. This research investigates the growth strategies from the big-five motor manufacturers in Taiwan, and scrutinising the pros and cons from strategic facets. By case studying, the thesis itself would probe the development history such as how to grow up and adjust the main business structure quickly to build up the competitive adventage since the factory owners founded their business.
