光的表現形式種類很多,有靜態及動態的表現形式,其中又以加入動態所構成的光造形,能更加吸引人的關注性。因為具有動態造形的表現,被附予了時間及空間的概念,也因此較靜態的光造形更具有深入研究的價值。本研究針對光媒材的種類特性與運用光源進行創作的種類、形態、造形、手法、表現等加以分析。在視運動知覺中有似動運動、運動殘像、誘導運動、自動運動、實際運動等五種,與光的動態表現造形裡的似動、殘像、點滅、放電等四種形態之表現進行歸納,並經由相關文獻探討及實驗設計後,瞭解光與動態間所產生的關係,再利用這些造形基礎與光源相關之文獻相互對照,將所得之結果進行創作。創作部分運用目前最新科技下的光產物「光纖」與「LED」作為主要媒材,並利用自動運動與實際運動為表現的視覺效果。 因此在「創作一」中,運用光纖為主要媒材,利用壓克力依附光纖以立體形態呈現,打破一般的平面形式,以馬達的迴轉產生實際運動,光纖透過色盤的色彩傳遞達到點滅的視覺效果。此作品完成後發現,壓克力使光纖能站立外,兩者之間有更好的互動性,並產生相互呼應的視覺效果。「創作二」運用LED為主要表現媒材,結合LED色光的多變性與自動運動圖形,呈現色光性的LED與色料性的卡典西德所產生加法混和與減法混和的現象,更產生出了色彩同化的視覺效果,使作品呈現出豐富的表現性,這樣的表現手法未來將運用於展示空間或產品開發的領域中繼續發展。
Lighting can be applied statically and dynamically. Apparatuses with dynamic lighting not only attract more attention, but also convey an extra time and spatial dimension. This research is focus on the four dynamic lighting behaviors (of mimic movement, remaining image, on and off and discharge) and the five visual motions (of apparent movement, induced movement, movement after-image, autokinesis, and real movement), conducted experiments and literature searches, and applied some of these principles in creating two illustrations by using the latest light mediums of Optical Fibers and LED’s. The first creation of illustration is using colors acrylic reinforced optical fibers as the main medium, and thought the rotating motor to produce a desired, which is “on-off” effect. The colors acrylic not only holds the optical fiber erect, but also provides a good visual contrast. The second creation of illustration is using LED as the lighting medium for its excellent color display capabilities and “auto-kinetic” looks. The result of this research is, combined with color-dyed cutting sheets, the illustration produced an “auto-kinetic” and color assimilation effect, a new presentation technique in the field of applied lighting will be continue develop.
