本文應用接枝共聚合反應(Graft Copolymerization)的方法將丙烯酸接枝於幾丁質上,製成幾丁質-聚丙烯酸接枝共聚合(Chi-g-PAA)。探討起始劑濃度、幾丁質/丙烯酸比例及反應溫度對共聚合產物接枝百分率的影響,以獲得最佳合成條件。依此條件,製成高丙烯酸含量的Chi-g-PAA,再將此共聚合物予以水解,可製得帶大量負電荷之新型吸附劑,應用於吸附水溶液中之孔雀綠、甲基紫、巴拉刈等毒性有機物。吸附等溫線結果顯示,Langmuir模式較Freundlich模式更準確的描述此新型吸附劑對孔雀綠、甲基紫、巴拉刈的吸附行為,計算單層飽和吸附量(Monolayer adsorption capacity)qm。孔雀綠為218.3mg/g-adsorbent;甲基紫為1330.3 mg/g- adsorbent;巴拉刈為296.8 mg/g-adsorbent.
Chitin grafted poly-acrylic acid (Chi-g-PAA) was synthesized and applied to an adsorbent of malachite green Chi-g-PAA copolymers were prepared at various concentrations of initiator, chitin/monomer ratios and temperature to find the optimum reaction condition. Grafting was confirmed FT-IR spectra. A representative chi-g-PAA copolymer was hydrolyzed to a salt type and applied to the adsorption of malachite green、methyl violet and paraquat. Equilibrium adsorption data are more consistent with the Langmuir isotherm equation than with the Freundlich equation. The maximum adsorption capacity are 218.3 mg/g-adsorbent for malachite green, 1330.3 mg/g-adsorbent for methyl violet and 296.8 mg/g-adsorbent for paraquat, respectively.
