近年來電腦軟硬體設備發展快速,個人電腦之處理運算效能大幅的提昇,並加上網路技術的進步,基於這些因素,使個人電腦叢集被廣泛的使用於各領域上,各種叢集管理軟體也因應而生。 本論文是將平行運算應用於小波轉換理論,於Linux作業系統上建構平行運算平台,將兩台個人電腦結合成一組個人電腦叢集,形成一高效能之計算資源,搭配以C語言撰寫之小波轉換程式,來達到快速分析之成效,最後以實際電壓波形圖作為輸入訊號來執行小波轉換程式,並將單主機執行小波轉換程式與平行運算執行小波轉換程式之執行速度作為比較,以驗證本研究可提升整體效能,隨後將每組輸入訊號所產生之結果繪成波形圖,以利觀察實驗結果,以驗證本研究之正確性。
In the last few years, because the computing efficiency of personal computers has been increasing and the computer network technology has progressed quickly, PC clusters are used in many fields and various kinds of management software are produced. We apply the parallel virtual machine to the discrete wavelet transform in this thesis. Two PCs are made into one PC cluster, and Linux is used for the operating system. Then we can get a high performance computation, and the discrete wavelet transform program is developed with C language at the cluster. The power signals are tested by the proposed method. In order to exhibit the efficiency of this study, we compare the running time of a single PC and a PC cluster. The test results reveal that the method can improve the time consuming of the discrete wavelet transform.
