This thesis presents the design and implementation of the driving circuits for LED lamps and Fluorescent lamps. The Emitting light principle of LED is different from fluorescent lamp. This thesis proposed a half-bridge resonant inverter that can simultaneously driving fluorescent lamps and LED lamps. At first, the inverter is operated by high switching frequency to detect lamp types. Then, the inverter is given appropriate control according to the type of lamps. Use pulse-width modulation to regulate the power of individual lamps. Each lamp is operating at rated power. Finally, a prototype has been implemented to verify its feasibility.
