PdNi/Al2O3及PdNiAg/Al2O3複合膜之製備及氫氣選透性研究

摘要


鈀膜具備良好的氫氣選透性,廣泛使用於氫氣純化製程,將鈀膜以無電鍍方式鍍在多孔性氧化鋁基材上形成Pd/Al2O3複合膜,兼具良好氫氣滲透性及機械性質等特點,亦可有效降低Pd膜厚度減少成本。 本研究利用超音波震盪輔助敏活化之製程,改善Pd核種在多孔性α-Al2O3上之披覆均勻性與附著性,以無電鍍製程進行鈀膜、鈀鎳膜與鈀鎳銀膜之製備,進行各種鈀合金膜之鍍膜結構觀察及氫氣選透性能量測,探討添加鎳及鎳銀成分對鈀鍍膜結構及選透性能的影響。實驗結果顯示,Pd膜厚約為5.1 μm 之Pd/Al2O3複合膜,其H2/N2選透性約為67.51; PdNi/Al2O3複合膜中,Pd88Ni12、Pd77Ni23與Pd68Ni32之選透性分別為45.47、33.09與19.98,表示選透性會隨著Ni含量增加而下降,經過長時間熱穩定測試下,發現其PdNi/Al2O3合金複合膜選透性能未明顯改變。在Pd68Ni32上析鍍Ag後,其PdNiAg/Al2O3複合膜之選透性約為258,可見Ag可提升其整體複合膜之選透性。

The Pdlladium membrane has been extensively used in the process of hydrogen purification due to its excellent hydrogen permselectivity. The Pd membrane was electrolessly deposited on the porous α-Al2O3 substrate to form the Pd/Al2O3 composite membrane, in which the thickness of Pd membrane can be decreased to reduce the cost while exhibits excellent hydrogen permeance and good mechanical properties. In this work, the ultrasound-assisted activation process has been used to activate the porous α-Al2O3 substrate for improving the dispersion and adhesion of Pd nuclei on the porous α-Al2O3 substrate. The Pd, PdNi and PdNiAg membranes were deposited on the activated Al2O3 substrate by using electroless deposition. The structures of Pd, PdNi and PdNiAg membranes were characterized and the gas permeation test was performed to measure the permselectivity of various Pd alloy. Effects of Ni and Ag contents on the structure and permeance of Pd membrane were investigated. Experimental results showed that the H2/N2 permselectivity of Pd/Al2O3 composite membrane with 3μm-thick Pd membrane was 67.5, and that of Pd alloy composite membranes with 3μm-thick Pd88Ni12、Pd77Ni23 and Pd68Ni32 membrane were 45.47、30.09 and 19.5, respectively. The results indicated that the H2/N2 permselectivity decreased with increasing the Ni content. The PdNi alloy membrane was stable after a long time of thermal cycles test. The H2/N2 permselectivity of PdNi/Al2O3 composite membrane with sequential electroless deposition Ag were 258. It was indicated that added Ag could increase the permselectivity.
