以LightTools光學設計軟體分析LED頭燈雛型

摘要


世界各國先進車燈未來發展趨勢以發光二極體照明產品為主軸,發光二極體不僅壽命長、反應快速、以及省能源等特性,未來必將大量應用在車輛照明與訊號燈上;因此若能及早瞭解發光二極體車燈設計的相關技術,配合未來高亮度LED陸續推出,就可即時掌握發光二極體車燈新產品的研發時機。 汽車上的燈光系統不但讓駕駛者能實際了解車子的狀況,更提供了安全駕駛過程中,所必須兼具的條件。而新一代的光源-發光二極體,這對許多消費者來說一點也不陌生,甚至已進一步擴大應用於汽車上,並根據各個應用面對於效能的不同需求,選擇適宜的發光二極體產品。基本上,由於發光二極體與傳統的光源除了在外型上的差異之外,光型與效能輸出也有很大的差異,因此,要將發光二極體完善地應用在汽車頭燈上,包括光學設計與散熱設計等,將與傳統汽車燈具的設計概念有所不同。為了使發光二極體的效率及應用發揮到極致,必須特別強化光學照明設計,才能大幅提升光源效率與節省成本。 另一方面,由於傳統拋物面反射鏡車燈之外觀設計受限;因此衍生出新型多重反射面鏡、多橢圓反射面鏡車燈等設計。其共通點在於光線偏折的功能由反射鏡執行,燈罩部分可以是透明的,不需加上凹槽,在進行外觀設計時就能有較大的發揮空間。 因此本研究將以發光二極體為發光源,設計出符合車輛安全檢測基準法規之發光二極體近光燈雛型,作為所要求之光型及照度為依據。其將利用LightTools軟體來進行光學設計及分析,以設計較佳的光型及照度為目標。研究中,由於LED的發光類型並沒有一致性;不同的封裝型態將產生不同的光型輸出,進一步將影響反射罩或成像透鏡的要求,因此利用發光二極體作為光源設計燈具時,需重新考慮其光學特性由傳統的柱狀光源變為平 面光源(180°),進而搭配外部的光學組件而產生不同組合以應用於不同產品,利用不同的LED排列方式(光源的部份)、透鏡、反射鏡樣式等元件所組成的發光二極體近光燈雛型,藉由LightTools光學設計分析軟體來進行設計及分析。 整體來說,利用不同的發光二極體排列方式、透鏡、反射鏡樣式等元件所組成的發光二極體近光燈雛型,可有效提升發光二極體車燈之效能。未來的車燈開發,發光二極體光源將會應用在先進車輛照明的設計,無論如何;造型、體積與效率將為目前設計發光二極體車燈的首要目標,如何將此目標做最佳化的設計,將會是未來發光二極體車燈設計上應再尋求突破的重要工作。

Light-emitting diode (LED) was used as the main element in advanced car lighting. LED takes the advantages of long lifetime, low switching time, and energy conservation so that it is popular in the applications of car lighting and indicator. It is important to investigate the technology and design of high brightness LED as the car lighting in the future. The lighting system of car serves the function of indicator in the dark condition or low illumination environment. It is important for the safe consideration during car-driving. In addition, LED as the lighting or indicator is popular, even uses as the car lighting. However, the light output intensity of LED is low as comparing to conventional lighting. In addition, the light shape and efficiency is different related to the conventional lighting. Therefore, optical design and heating escape for LED as car lighting is different from the conventional car lighting. In order to enhance the light efficiency and save the cost, optimum optical design is necessary. On the other hand, several derivative reflectors such as multi-reflective lens, elliptic lenses was used in present reflector in car lighting due to the restriction of the shape of car lighting. The emitting light from light source can be reflect by the reflector and then transmit out through the transparent lamp shape. Therefore, this study will be light-emitting diodes as the light source, designing for meeting the vehicle safety inspection laws and regulations of the base near light-emitting diode light prototype, required by the light pattern and illumination as the basis. It will use LightTools software to proceed optical design and analysis, and design a better light pattern and illumination as a target. During the study there is no coherence on LED light-emitting type so different package types will produce different types of light output. Furthermore it will influence the imaging of the reflector, or the demands of the lens Thus using the light-emitting diodes as a light source design lamps, needs to reconsider its optical properties and change the its traditional cylindrical light source into a plane (180 °). Moreover, it can accompany with an external optical components arising from different combinations to apply to different products. The light-emitting diode headlamp prototype which are consisted by different arrangement of LED (light part), Lens, speculum styles and other elements can be used in design and analysis by LightTools optical design analysis software. Overall, the light-emitting diode headlamp prototype which are consisted by different arrangement of LED (light part), Lens, speculum styles and other elements can effectively enhance the light-emitting diode lights of the performance. So the light-emitting diode light source will be applied in the advanced vehicle light design. However, the shapes, volume and efficiency are the primary goals for the design of light-emitting diode as car lighting lights now. How to turn our goals into the best design will be an important task on making further process for light-emitting diode as car lighting design.
