The main focus of this work is to introduce the microscopic features of mosquitoes, such as mouthparts, wings, legs and compound eyes. Understanding the anatomical structure and functions of mosquitoes can further promote the related bionic applications. For the junior high school education, adding bionic nanotechnology related topics into teaching materials via theme experimental design can inspire students’ interests in the nano-world of mosquitoes and make them understand that many products are created from bionic technology and many design ideas are obtained from bionic inspirations. After learning, students are grouped into discussion groups and collaborative ideas are collected for creative bio-inspired technology products.
