資料中心分散式映像檔部署

Decentralized Image Deployment in Datacenter

摘要


現階段隨著科技發展,資料使用量大、需求增加,程式更迭迅速,系統部署的時效更具急迫性,傳統servers-client 的資料傳遞模式已經無法滿足現今快速部署的需求,若資料傳遞速度不足則會造成服務中斷時間過長。隨著資料中心規模增加,若要快速部署作業系統映像檔至伺服器上,將耗費相當大的成本。若使用一般的做法,單台複製時間成本會大增,沒有辦法因應使用情境而快速改變。我們提出使用BitTorrent去中心化複製的方法,改善一般 Multicast的問題。經評估,在大規模複製的情況下,有穩定的效能改進。

With the development of technology, data usage is getting higher. Timeliness of system deployment is more urgent. The past data transfer model has been unable to meet the needs of today's rapid deployment. Service interruption time will be too long if the data transfer rate is insufficient. With the increase of the datacenter scale, the datacenter needs more cost to quickly deploy the operating system images to the servers. If using existed method, duplicate time cost will surge. There is no way to deal with emergencies quickly depending on the complex context of use. We purpose a new novel server duplicate method based on BitTorrent to solve the Multicast problem. The result shows our method has a stable performance improvement in large-scale duplicate.
