一個分散式自動化測試框架

A Framework for Distributed Automated Testing Environment

摘要


像 HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) 這樣的公司, 會生產多種硬體設備, 需要巨量系統 整合測試, 也擁有針對各元件進行的自動測試工具; 測試工作會分配在世界各地多個團 隊同時並行, 測試資源也座落在各個封閉的測試環境. 串連測試環境並共用測試資源是一降低成本開銷的方法, 但” 共用測試資源” 這一策 略本身就違背了” 保持測試環境乾淨” 的原則, 且自動測試工具本身並無要求” 驗證測試 環境正確性” 的功能. 除此之外, 實務上還需要避免因” 跨地區的網路延遲” 和” 共用測試 資源而改變了的自動測試流程” 等要素反而拖累原本的半自動測試工作. 本論文提出一框架, 逐一解決與收斂串連測試網路並共用測試資源會遇到的問題, 同 時保證自動測試不破壞其測試正確性也不拖累原本的半自動測試工作, 進而達到降低測 試工作的成本.

A company like HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) manufactures many kind of hardware and require huge system integration testing, dispatches test activities to teams and laboratories in the word, and distributes resources to closed test environments respectively. Connecting multiple test environments to share resources is a way to reduce cost, however, ”share test environments” conflicts with the principle ”keep test environment clean” and most automated tools don’t provide ”test environment validator”, besides, high latency between geo- graphical different networks and new automated test flow comes from sharing test environments are problems may impact origin semi-automated test activities in reality. The thesis proposes a framework to solve and converge problems of sharing resources to assure the new automated test flow guarantee test integrity and not impact origin semi-automated test activities, so that reduce the cost of test activities really.
