摘要

若身體是一架構造精密的機器,那這篇論文就是試圖拆解這部 機器其中的原理,將身體與心靈拆解開來,將知覺與感知拆解 開來,將文化知識背景拆解開來。
在笛卡爾心物二元論中,人是心靈和身體結合的共同體,心靈 和身體可以互相影響,而感知的主體被歸類於「心靈」,具有 意識、能思考,卻不具物質性也不佔空間。反之「身體」則沒 有意識,且具有物理擴延性而佔空間。而所謂的感知,便是將 身體的知覺,透過心靈的判斷而產生。
梅洛龐蒂將身體置於人類存在的中心,因此人類才能在世體驗 在世面對外界的感知,那身體能不能是感知主體的一部分?身 體能獲得的不是抽象或概念的理解,而是直接的感官體驗、是 有關於世界的具體現象。
就像廚師透過指尖記住五分熟的牛排軟硬觸感,體感的累積總 是在身體與外界互動中完成。而體感建築,一方面是從空間中 獲得體感,另一方面則是期待在建築中創造體感,讓建築從身 體「長」出來。

This thesis is about Haptical Architecture, dismantling complex body sense into many pieces like body and soul, sense and perception, culture and background...etc. René Descartes consider human as a combination of soul and body and take soul as the perception center. Until Maurice Merleau-Ponty put attention on body, and emphasis body experience which help us to meet the world. Our body experience accumulates by interacting with environment just like a chef learn to cook a medium steak by his fingertips. For me, I use my body sense to experience a space as well, and try to make one haptical architecture.
