OPC UA與oneM2M的整合互通

Interoperability between OPC UA and oneM2M

工業物聯網(IIoT)在近年來逐漸興起,工廠中的大量設備都將連接到 網路上。使用上的實例可以包括工廠間的資料處理、監控資料收集的完整性以及即時的資料收集等等。如何讓使用不同 IIoT 協議和標準的設備之間能夠進行無縫的溝通被認為是個重要的議題。 在本研究中,我們挑選了兩個在 IIoT 領域中非常知名的標準: oneM2M 以及 OPC UA,並將議題專注於如何在工場場域 (field domain) 使用 OPC UA 以及在基礎設施場域 (infrastructure domain) 使用 oneM2M 的情況下整合兩個系統。為了建立兩個系統之間的互通性,我們提出了一種IPE(Interworking Proxy Entity)的設計,以用於達成兩個系統間資源模式及執行步驟的對應。這個設計包含了(1)互通功能及(2)OPC UA 客戶端的應用程式,並安裝於工場場域中的 oneM2M 中間節點 (Middle Node),以處理資料交換的工作。在我們的設計中,OPC UA 客戶端的應用程式負責與OPC UA 伺服器的應用程式溝通,而互通功能則將遵照對應的規則來轉換OPC UA 以及 oneM2M 的資料,並送到 oneM2M 的應用程式或 OPC UA 的裝置上。我們不只提出了 IPE 的設計,且提出兩種對應的方法並比較兩者之間的差異,並找出造成兩者反應時間不同的原因。

The Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT) is emerging in recent years with a huge amount of devices in the factory connected to the Internet. The use cases being considered include data processing for inter-factory manufacturing, integrity of data collection monitoring, real time data collection, etc. It has been recognized as an important problem in allowing seamless communications among IIoT devices with different protocols and standards. In this research, we choose two popular global standards in the IIoT area: oneM2M and OPCUA, and focus on how to do the interoperability when the OPC-UA system in the field domain interacting with the oneM2M system in the infrastructure domain. To enable interworking between OPC-UA and oneM2M, we propose a design of IPE (Interworking Proxy Entity) for resources mapping and procedures mapping. This design contains both(1) interworking functions and (2) OPC-UA client APP, installed on oneM2M Middle Node in the field domain, to handle the data exchange. In our design, the OPC-UA client APP is responsible for communicating with the OPC-UA server APP. Interworking functions will follow the mapping rules to convert OPC-UA data to oneM2M data and vice versa, then send the result to either a oneM2M application or an OPC-UA device. This research not only proposes a design of IPE for interworking, but also proposes two mapping methods, compares their differences and analyzes to discover the causes of these differences.
