應用於光學滑鼠之陣列透鏡設計

摘要


安捷倫是第一家開發光學滑鼠零組件的公司,光學滑鼠零組件中最重要的就是detector sensor、micro-controller 及optical Lens,其設計主要經由透鏡改變光線路徑與雙TIR(Total Internal Reflection) 最後將發射光以夾角5°~20° 射入桌面上的1*1 mm面積再反射到detector sensor,生成高對比度圖像。但其產生的均勻度僅約60%,接受器上的光效率也僅達42%。 因此在本論文中,我們提出一個改善光學滑鼠透鏡均勻度與效率的方式-陣列式透鏡,本論文將分析Agilent optical Lens 的設計概念,然後藉由對LED 光源的特性提出陣列式光學透鏡的設計想法,整個模擬設計過程以LightTools光學軟體將Agilent Lens 與新設計的Lens Array對光效率、光均勻性特性作比較,來說明新光學元件的確較佳。

Agilent is the first company to develop optical mouse components. The essential parts of the optical mouse components are detector sensor, micro-controller and optical lens. The mechanism is changing the optical path and double TIR (Total Internal Reflection) by adjusting the lens. Finally, the emergent ray is incident on the 1*1 mm area of the table at 5° to 20° and then reflected to the detector sensor to generate a high-contrast image. However, the uniformity is only about 60%. The light efficiency on the receiver is only 42%. In this study, we propose a way to improve the uniformity and efficiency of the optical mouse lenses, “Array Lenses”. We analyze the design concept of Agilent optical lens and propose an array optical lens, which is inspired by the characteristics of LED. This simulation used LightTools to compare the optical efficiency and uniformity of the Agilent lens with these of the newly designed lens, “Array Lenses”, to illustrate that the “Array Lenses” has better outcome.
