摘要

（）’s notebook創作計劃包含筆記本設計、展覽，及本文。本文為（）’s notebook創作文本紀錄，同時也是其階段性的總結。

（）’s notebook創作藉由筆記本設計來表現我自身的內在思維轉折，在「後關係」（意即關係以後）大主題之下以四系列依序展開詮釋：系列01《關係》、系列02《開始面對》、系列03《後來態度》、系列04《追求》。研究方法以「思考容器」概念、「藝術家創作書」精神為出發點依序進行：實驗、理序、系列構成。媒材選用標準以便於書寫紙材為主。

（）’s notebook創作雖然也考量、處理了筆記本的功能層面，然而賦予筆記本之上的意義才是我所要突顯的，這也是此創作命名為（）’s notebook的原因：筆記本與其意義雖然出自於我，但它們也可能恰好屬於你，因為身而為人，我們有著不少相似的共同經驗與觸動，所以，筆記本不僅可以被命名為Yu-chi Chen’s notebook，括號中的空白也意謂著無限可能。

The creation of（）’s notebook: Includes notebook design, exhibition and this essay. This essay is a record and a conclusion for the creation.

“Post relationships” is the main topic of this creation, which is composed of four series: Series 01 Relationships; Series 02 Begin to Face it; Series 03 The Attitude Afterwards; and Series 04 Pursuing. My approach is based on the main concept of a receptacle of thoughts and the essence of what an artist book is about. With that as a starting point, I step by step went through a research process consisting of experimentation, creative idea-sorting and series construction. Paper is the main media.

In this creation, the function of a notebook is also considered; yet it is not the main thing that I want to highlight. As one of the receptacles of thoughts, the meaning given to the notebooks is what I really wish to share with others. That is why I named this creation （）’s notebook. While it is me who created these notebooks, they actually belong to all of us. After all, as fellow human beings, we often share similar experiences and feelings. This is the reason why I didn’t name it “Yu-chi Chen’s notebook.” Instead I leave the parentheses unfilled, which means the possibilities are unlimited.
